AN: sorry that I've been gone so long, been busy with life, and well... life*shrugs*
ANyway, I've had this little section typed up in my documents for a while and thought I would post it, because, WHY THE HELL NOT?  Whelp, that's all~

"Maybe I should just give him time. He's probably just having a bad day. I should come back tomorrow and talk some sense into him. Maybe then, we can put up the stars" I told myself as I hovered in the sky. I then opened the satchels to look at our precious promises. My eyes widened as I only saw one star.

"W-what happened to Kaneki's promise!?" I freaked. I frantically looked through the bag that Kaneki's star was in and found nothing but mere star particles.

"Kaneki's promise has broken..." I whispered as I felt tears brim my eyes. I felt myself falling from the sky and noticed a slight change in my wings. They were lighter, not durable enough like before. I hit the ground with a rough thud. I didn't care anymore, I didn't feel the pain throughout my body. All I felt was the pain in my heart. I curled myself up into a ball and silently cried out in the open field I was in. No one was around, not like it mattered, no one matters but Kankei...and now he's leaving me.

"It can't be true! He still remembers me! He has to!" I cried in sobs.

*the next evening*

I perched myself onto Kaneki's open window and looked around. He was sitting on his bed, reading a book like the little nerd he is. He hasn't forgotten me, he just can't forget me...

"Kaneki?" I called out to him, no response. Maybe he's just ignoring me. I thought. I went into his room like I always would and walked to him. I sat down on the edge of the bed next to him and tried calling him again.

"Kaneki? Kaneki!" I called playfully as I waved my hands in front of his face. Yet I got no response. I began to slightly panic. No, he hasn't forgotten, he can't!

"Kaneki!" I yelled as I lunged myself toward the younger to tackle him. To my disbelief, I flew right through him. My eyes began to leak tears as I realized I was nothing to him now. No! No no no nO NO NO! This can't be real! This can't be happening! I thought as I tried grabbing his arm, yet my hand only went right through him. Tears began to rapidly flow as I watched my little Kaneki completely ignore me.

"Kaneki dear, come down for dinner!" Kaneki's mother called.

"Coming, mother!" He called back as he put his bookmark where he left off and set his book down.

"Kaneki..." I sobbed as I put myself in front of the door to block his way. Please, Kaneki! Remember me! It all happened in slow motion, he passed right through me as if I was never there in the first place.

"Oh God, why?" I whispered as I hugged my knees and cried.
