It was 30 min since I got the call having the captain needing to talk to me, my younger sister was helping me put on my a.c.u. She was going on 18 now, still in collage. It was going on 6:40. I was holding my rifle tight in my hands. A million thoughts racing in my head.

Well I actually shoot someone? Could I die today? Why are these guys so classified?

We were inside a outpost located off the coast by a hundred miles. It went dark and they sent us to investigate. At least that's what the team told me.

We were dropped off by helicopter, the Irish girl melody hacks the door open, we walk threw. We all had our flashlights on and weapons pointed. Moving silently. I made sure to stick close to zero and lily. For some reason lily scares the hell out of me.

We all hear a sound of Brocken glass and stop. All is silent. Zero looks over at me and gives a hand signal to go over by the door were the source of the sound was and he gets on the other side. I take in a deep breath, he gives the hand signal and we both rush in the rest behind us, only to find a rat that nock over a glass cup, my flash light pointed on it, it looks at all us curiously. Zero gets a small smirk.

I roll my eyes. Ha ha. The rest have a small laugh and walk out.

My foot steps Eco down the hall and step over fallen objects such as books and other equipment, I stop in the middle of the hall and look around then I talk into the radio.

I spin around rifle pointed, my flash light hits a tall black hedgehog, starring at me with grey eyes.

Identify yourself. I say weapon pointed.

He just smirks and charges at me,

His eyes turn crimson.

Stop! I yell before pulling the trigger sending three rounds into his chest, he falls to the ground. I back up shaking.

I didint even think about the eyes. I just turn and start yelling for the team.

I stop, frozen to the spot. My legs felt like lead. I slowly turn my head and look into the eyes of a monster.

His eyes glowing a crimson red, blood poring down his suit, and what's worse was the fangs hanging out his blood covered mouth.

Before I can ease my rifle he nocks it out my hand and takes me to the ground, he pins me. His hands around my throat squeezing slowly. I couldn't move, I couldn't breath. I could only grab his rest and look into his sinister crimson eyes. I could see his smirk. He was taking pleasure in this. He was slowly breaking my neck. I started to see black.

This is it. I thought. I'm about to die by a monster.

All sudden I hear several loud bangs of a gun the vampire is sent flying on his back by the power force.

Vampire.. I thought. That's exactly what he is. I thought.

The vampire gets up to his feat quickly and hisses, tell I high the loud bang of a sniper rifle this time. One shoot going into his eye and before he falls, anther to his heart.

I was gasping for air, I hear two pair of foot steps run toward me. Both were lily and zero.

Saber! Zero yells and helps me sit up.

I was coughing heavily, breathing in and out hard, holding my badly brushed neck.

Easy kid..lily says.

I look over at the dead vampire. Then slowly look over at lily and zero.

Only one thought ran threw my head, and I could only say one thing threw my bruised neck.
