The meeting was calm and quiet. We listen closely to zero as he told us about the hybrids and what they were doing and who was working with them. I had already learned about two dangerous milita groups that were helping him. One called the VWS. Vampier worship society and the other was WSF which was werewolf sacred force. It had been 48 hours since my last mission. Marissa was siting next to me along with Kurt at my left. Me and marissa kept exchanging quick glances at each other as zero talked.

I don't get it. Said Kurt.

Why is he useing millita and other supernatural groups? Why not turn hybrids of his own? We had hard enough time taking down one.

Why turn when you can build a army said lily. Paying close attention to her husband.

Your both right and wrong. Replied zero.

Davion is building a army but for some reason we've only seem a few hybrids. Whatever he is doing. He's doing it ever carefully.

Why kidnap steel? Ask lily.

Zero thought for a sec then replied. I don't know. I wish I did but I don't. He wants something steel has and we won't let him get it. Davion is working very carefully and sneaky on this.

After a while I finally spoke.

Why now?

Everyone turn to look at me including zero.

I mean why now. You said it yourself zero the hybrids are thousands of years old why turn up now? Why attack now?

The room fell silent, everyone in there own thoughts.

He's right said lily. We need to find out why and were he is.

Zero turned to his team and spoke. Lily is right and so are you saber. And we're gonna find out.

But how? Said alpha.

We don't know we're he is.

Zero look to the ground. As if afraid to say something, he was thinking hard on something then looked at us.

The hybrid we took down a few days ago is still alive.

There were a few gasp and alpha yelled out.

She's still alive!?

No. She's under tight security. Replied zero. And we're gonna find out what she knows.

Damn right we well said lily.

And we're going to find out now. We're all heading down there.

I was shocked not only that the hybrid had survived but that were also going to go see it. As the team made there way to the cells marissa stopped. Dead in her tracks.

Marissa? I ask and turned to her.

She had a look of fear in her eyes, something I didn't like seeing from her.

I..I don't wanna go. She went on. I walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

Hey. We don't have to go I said.

Wanna go back up top? I'm sure zero well understand.

She nodded and I hugged and kiss her, feeling her embrace.

Zeros POV

We passed by the many empty cells that lead to the main one we were heading to.

The hybrid cell.

The cell of the beast.

When she was captured. She was just like a vampire. Gave her blood and she healed right away. We had small talk. Nothing serious and nothing personal. But now it was time to business. Time to find out what she knows. To my right was my brother alpha. The man that had been in the C.I.A for the longest of time and had fouled many into thinking he was dead so he could go undercover in Russia, years of CIA,special forces, Air Force and delta team have turned him into one and probably the most dangerous member on the team. You would think he would be commander instead of me just cuz he's older and his experience. But no. When he was gone I was promoted and proved myself and he was happy for that.

Years of experienced have turned on me to from the army to delta. I was made to be a leader said alpha. And right he was. Every mission I went on no matter were and what it was always the same priority for me.

My team first. Mission second.

I couldn't screw up. If I did. People died as simple as that. Sometimes there were hard decisions to make but alpha help him. And sometimes zero helped alpha. Well, they help each other all the time. Like when zero talked alpha into not finding his wife's ex husband and killing him. And when alpha had talk zero into not taking certain chances on missions. It was all the time they help each other. And on his left was his beautiful wife lily.

He loved her. As simple as that. Lily meant the world to him. He would fight threw army's and hell for her. She was also one of the deadliest other ones of the group. And that he loved about her along with every other little detail about her.

Soon they reached the hybrids cell. She looked up from her cell bed and looked at them with purple snake like eyes and smiled warmly. Good morning commander, and you brought company.

Shut up. Said lily bitterly.

Where's steel. I ask.

Who?

Steel.

Steel...steel oh yes him! She said with a smirk. I will tell you if you let me out.

Bullshit yelled Lilly.

The hybrid laughed. Please if I wanted to kill any if you I would have already done it.

I leaned closer into the electrical bars but not touching them.

Prove it. I said.

She smiled. Commander I will show you instead.

How?

My words were caught by melody yelling at the hybrid.

Stop! She was yelling and I turned around and the blood drained from my face.

Alphas eyes were completely purple and his hidden blade drawn. Alpha had her pinned against the floor. I turned and yelled at the hybrid.

End this now!

As you wish. She replied and alpha stop and passed out, melody holding him close, and Kurt ran to them to check on alpha.

You see, the hybrid began.

There not joining him..davion is forcing them. They all look to him as a god.

I look over at lily and she looks back at me and gives a small nod, I look at the hybrid.

But why? I ask. What is he after?

The arch. Replied the hybrid.

I laughed. The arch is a stone filled with so much power you can bring a life back. He can't absorb it or anything like some super villain..

Exactly began the hybrid.

He wants it for someone.

I was confused.

Who? Before she could start the base rumbled. And red alarms start blaring around my ears.
