Alyssa's POV
"Your mom.. She..." Anna started. Well tried to.
"My mom what Anna, spit it out!"
"Your mom s-she uhm. Well... She sorta had a lot to drink then, she drove to the store to buy more alcohol but on the way there she got in an accident. Alyssa, your mom's dead." Lexi finished.
I can't believe it. No this can't be happening. I don't care if she beat me, she was all i had left. What am i supposed to do? I'm only 17 i can't just live on my own. Right at that moment i broke down completely. My sobs were uncontrollable & i couldn't hear or see anything. The last thing i remember is Anna hugging me, Lexi calling for the doctor, & my heart monitor going crazy.
2 hours later.
Lexi's POV
She's going to be fine. This is all a dream. You've never even seen her before.
All of these thoughts were running through my head & trying to make myself believe that my best friend isn't in there slowly dying.
But that's the thing. It is happening & there's nothing i can do to stop it but sit & wait for her to live because i know she's strong enough to make it through this.
Anna and I have been talking about her living with one of us so she doesn't have to go to a foster home. We agreed on her living with me for a month then living with Anna for a month and just letting her chose if she wants to alternate or stay with one of us.
I feel pretty bad for Michael, i can tell he really cares about her, i just don't think Alyssa is gonna let him in any time soon because of her past with boys.
"Any visitors for Alyssa Greenwald please come to room 145" i heard from across the hall.
Michael, Anna, and I we're the only one's here right now since we were closest to her and we all went to the room we we're told to go to.
"Hello girls and boy" the doctor chuckled a little. "So i have heard about Alyssa's mom and she is ready to be released in 2 days but we aren't sure where to send her home as she has said she doesn't want to live alone."
"Oh sir we have already spoke about it, she will be coming home with me, Lexi and livin with my parents and I since she has known us for 13 years." i replied to him.
"Okay, i will tell her that and you guys can visit her if you want now." he smiled to us.
"Thank you!" we all said in unison.
*skipping 2 days to when Alyssa goes home*
Alyssa's POV
Finally i get to go home today. It's been 3 freaking weeks and I'm on so many medications it's ridiculous.
I was going home with Lexi today but right now we were at my house with Anna and Mikey getting my stuff for this month.
Believe it or not, i actually missed my mom. I don't know why but i do, i still loved her and she was still my parent. Her funeral is in 2 weeks and i don't know if i wanna go but i think i will.
"Hey uhm Alyssa do you want this?" Michael asked chuckling as he was holding one of my bras.
"Michael! Put it down your so gross!" I yelled at him. I swear this boy is crazy.
"I heard yelling are you okay?" Anna came up and asked.
"Yea we're fine mikey's just being a disgusting human." i scoffed.
"Okay hurry up Lexi's mom is excited to see you."
"Mikey huh?" he asked me.
"Shut up"
We loaded all of my stuff into Lexi's car and drove to her place. Michael went home and I'm sorta sad that he doesn't live 2 houses down anymore but I'll still visit my house.
When we pulled into their driveway lexis mom greeted me with a hug.
"Hi sweety! How's my second daughter?"
"I'm okay" i smiled.
Once we got all of my stuff inside we decided to just have a girls night and Anna stayed with us.
"How about the purge?" Lexi asked cause we were deciding what movie to watch.
"Hell yea!" Anna and I yelled.
She put in the movie and we all relaxed and Anna went to make popcorn. Then my phone buzzed.
From michael🙈: hey, I'm just checking up on you hope your okay. What are you up to? xx
To Michael🙈: I'm okay :) thank you and the girls and i are about to watch the purge gotta go talk to you later xx
From Michael🙈: okay see yaaa xx
He's so weird with 3 a's at the end oh my.
Anna came back with the popcorn and we had just started the movie when the doorbell rang. Lexi's mom was at work so one of us had to get it.
"I'll get it" i said.
I opened the door to reveal the 4 boys.
"WOO crashing the party ahh let's gooo!" they all yelled as they ran in and downstairs. How did they even know where she lived? Oh yea Ash has dropped Lexi off before duh.
I heard screams from downstairs and when i got there Ashton had tackled Lexi and Luke had tackled Anna, then there was calum and Michael fake fighting.
They're such idiots. Michael wasn't joking when he called them dweebs.
"Guysss can we just watch the movie?" i whined.
"Party pooper" Ashton said to me but i ignored it and we all got situated and started the movie. Lexi was cuddled with Ash (aw) , Anna was leaning on Luke, Calum was leaning on me and i was cuddled with Michael on the floor.
This is the perfect start to my 'new life'.
