Harry walked up to Professor Lupin's office. Alone. It was very rare he was alone as he always had people surrounding him whether it was all or one of his three best friends or just one of his normal friends he talked too from time to time, like Neville, Ginny or even Fred and George.

The school year was coming to an end but there was still a lot on the quartet's minds. Ron, Hermione and Harry's were all similar. All filled with the events that had happened throughout the year and just the madness they were put through. But Harry had one extra thing on his mind. Lupin. News got around that he was leaving and Harry wanted to know why as he rather liked Lupin.

Robyn, although thought of all the madness she had gone through and Lupin, thought of one thing in particular that took over most of her time. Harry.

She didn't have a clue what she was going to do. She had come to a sort of agreement in her head: She was going to spend the summer not worrying about it and then when her fourth year came and if she still felt the way she did about Harry, then she would start worrying and figuring out what to do. But until then, all she could do was spend the last of her time at Hogwarts to the fullest.

"Hello, Harry."

Harry jumped. He had not expected Lupin to notice his presence as he was busy packing away his belongings. The Professor turned and smiled through haggard eyes at Harry.

"Saw you coming."

Harry's eye's flickered to the Marauder's map that lay open on the otherwise bare desk.

Harry nodded and looked back at Professor Lupin though he was not able to disguise his shock at Lupin's appearance. Big, bulging bags hung under his dull and tired eyes and his face was covered in fresh marks and scratches. His face seemed more sallow and sunken.

"I've looked worse, believe me." Lupin said, smiling at Harry reassuringly.

Harry didn't want to think about what Lupin had to go through, so his eyes trailed once again to the bare desk and bookshelves. All of Lupin's belongings that once filled the dull and now boring room were all tucked up safely in suitcases and trunks, ready to be taken anywhere Lupin wanted.

"You've been sacked." Harry noted, not really asking as it was made quite clear. Well that was what he thought.

"Resigned, actually."

"Resigned! But why!" Harry exlaimed, his voice ringing into the empty corridor. He was shocked.

"It seems that someone has let slip the nature of my condition." Lupin said, not at all bothered about it as he was used to people judging him for something he couldn't control. Something he didn't want. His curse.

"Snape." Harry hissed as his soft stare turned into one of anger. His bright green eyes turned dark and menacing as anger ran through his veins.

Lupin let the comment slip, though he spared Harry a quick glance. "Whoever. It was bound to get out. This time tomorrow, the owls will start arriving. Parents will not want a -- someone like me -- teaching their children." Lupin said, his mind flickering back to when he was at Hogwarts and he lived in fear of anyone finding out about his curse.

The only exception were his three best friends: James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew. The Marauders.

They all learnt how to become an Animagus just so he wouldn't spend another full moon alone. Now that could never happen again.

"But Dumbledore --"

"Has already risked enough on my behalf. Besides, people like me, well... let's just say I'm used to this by now. But before I go, tell me about your Patronus." Lupin smiled proudly as he had heard about Harry casting a full Patronus to save himself and Sirius.
