Centuries after coming in contact with life beyond our own planetary system. The Human race has expanding far into space; enjoying rapid growth in the realm of trade, technology and commerce, this rapid growth has led human domination of several planetary-systems. A league of extraterrestrial beings known as 'the ulteriors' see humankind as a threat to their own culture and unrivaled superiority they have relished for millenniums, they declare an all out war on the newly forged human lead federation known as the Pulsar federation. Heads of all systems meet on the capital; Mars, they find a mutual agreement authorizing war and engage into battle with the battle hardened Ulteriorian forces. This conflict spanning 5 years would come to be known as the Ulteriorian crisis; leaving several dozen systems in ruble and costing millions their lives. To meet the demand for the manpower, all humans and allied non-humans of ages 15 up to 50 are trained into service. Due to the superior skills in close combat and proper usage of traditional weapons fused with sophisticated technology, the Ulteriorian forces make rampant progress; however, they were easily defeated after the creation of specialized teams that used the same tactics and methods of fighting. Soon after the defeat of the Ulteriorian forces, strict laws are placed against the remnants of the Ulterior Empire and its collaborator; they continue to support several fanatic groups who regularly carry out violent attacks on planets within the federation. As a result of the attacks, Ulteriorians face extreme persecution and prejudice. As the last of the Ulteriorian backed groups are eliminated; peace is finally restored. Year 2316, Even with the human race at its Pinnacle, socioeconomic status divison growing much larger. Poverty still continuing to exist, corruption in the high political system flourishing, Prominent figures buying out politicians in the parliament and using them to their advantages. War-profiteers persuading parliament into the expansion of the Federation, as they grows hungry for power, land and resources. The military continues to add planetary systems, by any means necessary either by negotiation or by deadly force. Even with all the ongoing violence, one man still hopes to bring to the system a prominent philanthropist turned politician Sebastian Alvin; spreading the idea of promoting peace talks rather than violence and force. Known for promoting unity within the federation, as various other systems begin to amass against the federation due to the ongoing military movement. With an imminent war on its way he tried his best to take every precautionary step to avoid an unnecessary conflict. After failing to stop the beginning of the conflict, Sebastian discovers the true reason of the military movement. The Parliament under the influence of war profiteer Richard , dismissed Sebastian's claims, even with solid evidence. Seeing the positions of the justice system at hand it is clear there is no way he can shed light on the bitter truth. Seeing so he decides to create, a covert organization, a group that would cause mass trouble for governmental and military forces, to prevent any sort of oppression. Sebastian turns to his long time best friend Morris Baylor who fought in the Ulteriorian crisis in one of the special task force. Knowing his hatred for the government; Sebastian decides to pay his old friend a visit. Unknowingly, Sebastian begins a journey down a path to something much more larger than he could have possibly imagined, as the events unravel he learns the true dark nature of the supposed Ulteriorian Conflict, which suspiciously left Crystal faction in control.
