*Winnie's POV*
I turned around when I heard Jeff's voice.
"Smile, heel." Jeff commanded and Smile stopped and whined.
"Jeff?" I called out.
"Where the hell did you run off too?! Ben and I have been worried sick!" Jeff yelled as he walked towards me.
I was about to respond til the girl next to me suddenly spoke up, "Ben..?" She said in a quiet voice. Now that I took a look at her she had really pretty blue eyes and long dirty blonde hair. "Um do you mind letting me go?" She spoke again.
"Oh. yeah. sorry" I said as I let her go. "Where is Ben anyways?" I asked Jeff.
"He'll be here in a bit" Jeff said. And almost as soon as he spoke those words Ben came running from the direction I had come, he was still wearing the regular clothes he wore when he was at school with me. "Speak of the devil" Jeff joked as soon as Ben reached us.
"Winnifred! Where the hell did you think running off to like that?! You could have gotten hurt!" Ben yelled furious at me.
"I'm sorry.." I said and I looked down.
"Winnie, you had me so worried." Ben spoke softly as he came closer towards me.
"Ben?" The girl behind me finally spoke up. Ben taking notice of her for the first time and his eyes widened. "Ben!" She yelled out sounding very happy and she jumped at Ben to hug him.
I felt a stinging in my heart as I looked at them so turned away and looked over as Jeff gave me a sympathetic look.
"I missed you so much!" The girl called out. As soon as she said that I turned around. Wait, that can't be Riley, can it?
Oh, how I wish I hadn't turned around because as soon as I did I saw something I wish I hadn't.
Riley and Ben were kissing.
The sounds of the birds and leaves and wind died down as all I could hear was the shattering of my heart.
