I sighed deeply as Hazel and Greg held hands and skipped down the bath. I roll my eyes everytime Hazel twirls. Finally we make it to a house that looks like candy.
"Woah! This looks so good! Can we try some, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!" Greg cheers once we make it there. I smile and nod my head.
"That is so disgusting! This house looks old, your eating candy birds poop on and bugs eat from!" Golgi says scrunching her face up. I laugh and look at Jason who picks up a lollipop from the ground. He peels off the wrapper and pops it into his mouth.
"Taste good to me." he attempts to say but it comes out like "Tasep gsool tos mese."
Golgi and I look at each other and laugh. Hazel and Greg already start eating the house.
I decide to join them and take out some candy from the window pane. We eat for about ten minutes when a young lady in her late twenties comes out. She tucks a piece of her jet black hair behind her ear and smiles a soft smile. Her brown eyes sparkle slightly. Shes pretty, but something wasn't right. Of course I knew that, but I stayed silent. I couldn't ruin their story for them.
Everyone froze when she walked out.
"Children are you hungry? Why don't you all come inside for a bit?"
"We just on a adventure, but if its okay with Amie, than I guess we could." Golgi said looking at me, I nodded my head slowly. I felt Jason's eyes staring straight at the back of my head. I stayed silent as we all walked inside of her house. I suddenly felt really scared.
"I can cook you a wonderful dinner, hmm pork chops, rice, and spinach sounds like a really nice meal." She says, looking directly at Greg. I move uncomfortably, eyeing Jason for help. He just shakes his head and takes a seat on the couch (which was made from Twizzlers!) I inhale deeply and sit down on one of the regular wooden chairs. I cross my arms and glare at the woman. I'm attempted to get up and walk out, but I'm scared to walk in the woods by myself. I wasn't scared of Mr.Wolf because I had met him before, why was it hard for me to speak? I looked down at my feet, shaking my head.
