" In Jesus name, Amen," they all said together.
Ruth looked around, so thankful for her family. She quietly thanked God for them and was about to get out of her chair when there was a knock at the door. They looked at each other wondering who would be up this early on a Saturday. When a loud crash followed and cops swarmed them.
"What is this about officers," her father questioned angrily.
" We were informed that you are reading from a contraband item,' the captain explained, " and we are here to investigate these charges."
"Sir, we found it," an officer claimed, " raising the Bible they were reading, in the air."
"Alright then, take them all in," the captain ordered.
"No please ," Ruth's mother pleaded, " Not the children.""
"Well, you should have thought of that, before you decided to brainwash them," the officer said coldly as he roughly grabbed Ruth.
"No! Mom, dad, help! What should I do," Ruth asked as she tried to escape the officers grasp?
"Ruth, it's okay just remember what we read today," her father responded as he was hauled away. Ruth was being dragged away when she tripped on one of the officer's feet and knocked her head hard against a wall.

"Mom can we watch a movie," Caleb asked as he flipped the DVD player down from the roof of the van.
"Sure honey, just make sure you put the headphones on," their mother said looking back with a smile.
"I can't wait to see Aunt Ann again," Ruth said enthusiastically.
"Yes, it has been a while since we have visited her isn't it," their father said with a thoughtful look on his face.
"I can't wait to swim in their pool," Dara said.
"Me too," Caleb said as he put the headphones on for the movie.
Ruth smiled as she looked outside enjoying the view of the river when suddenly there was a roar, as a black jeep raced around the corner. It speeds up until it was right beside them. Everyone was wondering what those people were doing when the man in the passenger seat of the jeep leaned out of the window and shot two rounds into the open window of the van. The van swerved and went off the bridge, plummeting towards the river below
