"Oh never alone, no never alone, you promise never to leave me. Never to leave me alone," Ruth sang in a whisper. She leaned back in her swivel chair as she sang those words again.
"I'm never alone with you around God," she smiled peacefully. She looked around her small room thankful for all God has given her. She was at peace.
"Ruth, Ruth," a voice whispered menacingly from the shadows, "You will always be alone."
"Always alone, always alone," the voice chanted as black mysterious figures came out of the shadows.
"No, no that's not true," Ruth stuttered as fear began to take hold.
There were already a dozen of these shadowy figures but more was coming. They were taller than a human with long black robes. These robes looked like they were created from shadows, blurry and undefined. Hoods were sewn to the robes with silver thread, masking their faces. The only feature you could see was the glowing scarlet eyes. They were getting closer and closer reaching for her trying to take her.
"Leave me alone! Leave me alone!" Ruth yelled panicking, "Leave me in the name of Jesus!"
