"Alice? Nice name, and nice fighting skills" I tell her. She blushes slightly.
"Say, why did you save me twice, and then disappear without letting me thank you or anything?" I ask. She paused for a while, before answering.
"I thought you'd attack me..." she said, looking down.
"Oh come on, you can't be scared of me! I recently spawned. But another question. WHY did you save me?" I ask, once more.
"Well, I thought for a while. But you're the first person I've come across in ages. Maybe... if I could get to talk to you, we could be friends. Finally... a friend." I thought for a while.
"How long have you been here?" I finally ask. I feel like I'm being a bit rude, asking so many questions to someone I just met... the first person I just met.
"Ages..." she seems to be thinking.
"How did you get food then?" My final question was.
"There is a large drop, but not the one you fell in, another one, mobs tend to fall in. Pigs, cows, chickens, sheep. No need for sheep though."
"Wow... must feel good to look up at those drops and look at the sun." I say.
"Meh." she replied, and walked ahead of me. I caught up to her.
"We're going to escape OK? We're going to leave this place." I tell her, hoping that would make her feel better.
"Don't you wonder why I am down here? Man with the hundred questions? I was sent down here by my village. There is weird happenings, the source is down here. I had to track it. At first I refused, I didn't want to go, it was dangerous. But they took me away. Knocked me unconscious and took me away. I became a trained warrior and fighter. By then, I wanted to go down here. My own village, changed my personality, just to find out something. I don't even know what the something is. No one does... No one cares... Spending all my time in the dark, with nothing but torch lights, I came to realize my true personality. I hate everyone in that village. Everyone. The things they'd do to SEND ME in there, instead of being brave and stepping up themselves. Cowards. COWARDS. I look at the sunlight, and all I see is them MOCKING ME. Shame on them. Shame. On. Them." she said, breathing rapidly. She said that with so much emotion and passion, she started sobbing. I didn't know what to do, it was like a monologue, and I just couldn't respond, but I had to. I hugged her, and she slowly stopped crying. She hugged me back.
My first friend, finally.
"It's OK... but we're going to get out of here... and we're going back to the village..."
"But what are we going to do? We can't kill them, or torture, we can't harm them... there's nothing we can do!"
"Isn't there? They forced you to go, now we force them. Villagers, I wonder if they've been down caves. I wonder if they like it, but we're going to find out... Alice. We're going to find out..."
