Sara slowly opened her eyes. She sat up from the couch.

"Oh, thank God! You woke up. Are you okay?" Scott asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright." Sara said.

"That's good." Scott said, smiling.

Sara smiled back.

Scott and Sara looked at Vincent. "Hey... Are you okay, Vincent?" He asked. Vincent looked up and his eyes widened. He hugged Sara tightly. "Sara! Thank god you're awake!" He pulled away and put his hands on her shoulders. "Those girls... Did they do anything to you?" He asked.

"No. They didn't do anything to me, Vincent." Sara said.

"That's good." He said. Vincent looked at the picture. "I... I remember one of the girls... coming up from behind and... they cut a lock of my hair off." He said as he held a piece of his hair in his hands.

"Really?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded. He looked at the mirror and saw that his hair was untouched. "It's not cut, is it?" Amy asked. "Just now... It seemed like a fragment of a memory." She said.

"It could be a fragment of a memory." Sara said as she got off the couch.

"Did those girls do that to you before?" Amy asked. Vincent nodded. "About a year ago, while I was dating Scott, my friends set me up on a practice date with Aiden. Scott obviously didn't like the idea, but he allowed me to go as long as I'm okay. Now, at the time, Aiden has this group of girls who would do anything to get his affections. I guess they must've found me and Aiden together and got the wrong idea, so while Aiden was buying some things for me, one of the girls came up from behind and cut a lock of my hair off. Aiden saw this and got mad at the girls. Most of them got the message, but a few of them refused to acknowledge the fact that he got mad at them and still pictured him as the ideal man." He said.

"I see." Sara said.

"But cutting a person's hair is criminal! It's criminal!" Amy said. Vincent looked at the picture. "But... Before I lost my memories, and even now, it seems inevitable that they'll cut my hair. I..." He looked down. "More like being hated, I feel like I'm despised." He said. Scott hugged Vincent and rubbed his back. "I could definitely feel their animosity." Amy said. Vincent and Scott looked at Amy. "They said "promise", right? Is that...?" Scott asked. Amy put her hand on her chin. "In other words, before he lost your memories, he must have promised something to those girls, and since he lost your memories, he ended up breaking that promise? I doubt they'll tell us the whole story, even if we ask them." She turned to Sara. "Sara, I don't mean to be mean, but it wasn't a smart move telling these girls that Vincent lost his memories. Well, now that they know, they might even take advantage of his memory loss and lie to him." She said.

Sara nodded. "We can't let them take advantage." She said.

"When I think about that, I don't think you should tell anyone else about Vincent's memory loss. The people you guys work with aren't bad people and I feel I could trust them, but we don't know what the other workers are like. And now that someone harbors animosity towards Vincent, there's no telling how much information might leak out." Amy said. "Don't worry, Amy. We won't let anyone hurt Vincent and we won't let these girls take advantage of his memory loss." Scott said.

Sara nodded.

"Thank you, guys." Amy said, smiling. Scott looked at the photo on the table. "I don't know what promise Vincent made to those girls, but he broke that promise somehow. Because of that, they might do something to hurt Vincent. Don't worry. I will protect you from Nightmare and the girls. I'll protect you from anything that tries to hurt you." He thought.
