Sara looked at Aiden, worried. "Aiden? Are you okay?" She asked.
Aiden looked at Sara and wiped his tears away. "Yeah. I'm okay." He said, putting on a fake smile.
Sara frowned and hugged Aiden.
"Ah... Sis? Don't worry about me. I'm fine." Aiden said, laughing nervously. "I-I'm just being silly. Silly ol' me just crying in the hallway for some silly reason."
"Aiden, I know you love Vincent..." Sara said.
"Ah... Of course you know that. You're my sister. And... Um..." Aiden said, looking down.
"Hm?" Sara looked at him.
"*sigh* I-I know I should be happy for Vincent getting his memories back, but... I just feel like I'm not helping as much as I should." Aiden said.
"Of course you are helping, Aiden. You helped us get this far." Sara said.
"Really?" Aiden asked.
Sara nodded. "Yes."
Aiden smiled a little. "Thanks." He said.
Sara smiled back. "You're welcome." She said.
"Well, we should get back to our rooms." He said.
Sara nodded.
Aiden and Sara went back to their rooms. "Oh Vincent... If only you knew how much I love you." He thought.
*The Next Day*
August 5th
Scott slowly opened his eyes. He looked and saw Vincent sleeping next to him. He smiled and held his hand. Vincent stirred and opened his eyes. "Good morning, Vince." Scott said. "Good morning, Scott." Vincent said, smiling. "Did you sleep well?" Scott asked. Vincent nodded. "Are you hungry? Can I get you some breakfast?" Scott asked. "Sure." Vincent said, getting up. "Oh, you don't have to get up. I can order it for you." Scott said. "Oh no, Scott. I can't let you do that." Vincent said. "Hehe. It's alright. I don't mind. You just take your time." Scott said, getting up. "Here's a map. I'll be at the cafe with the others." He said, giving Vincent a map. Scott went out of the room, leaving Vincent alone. He looked at the map. "So, the cafe is down the hallway next to the reception office." He thought. He got out of bed and looked out the window to see if anyone's watching. Luckily, no one was here. He breathed a sigh of relief. He got himself ready and went to the cafe. Scott and the others are there. "Hey Vince. I got you some pancakes." Scott said, showing him a plate of pancakes. "Wow, thank you." Vincent said as he sat down. "Aren't those pancakes expensive?" Mary asked Scott. "Yeah. I paid a lot of money for Vincent. I want him to have a good breakfast." Scott said.
"That's very kind of you, Scott." Sara said as she smiled warmly.
"Thank you, Sara." Scott said, smiling.
"You're welcome, Scott." Sara said.
Scott looked at Vincent who was eating his pancakes happily. "Do you like the pancakes?" Scott asked. Vincent nodded. "That's good." Scott said.
Sara looked through the window, looking at the shining golden sun. Until she felt arms wrap around her from behind, making her blush a little.
"Hey Sara." Mike said.
"Hey Mike." Sara said.
"How are you? Did you sleep well last night?" Mike asked.
Sara nodded.
Mike smiled. "That's good." He said.
Sara smiled back warmly.
After everyone is done with their breakfast, Scott held Vincent's hand. "Hey guys. Me and Vincent are gonna go around the lodge for a while, okay?" Scott asked.
"Alright." Sara said.
Scott and Vincent exited the cafe and explored the lodge. "Hey. Do you remember the time we went on a trip? Just the two of us?" Scott asked. Vincent nodded. Scott smiled. "The first time we went on a trip, we went to this lodge. It was a pretty bad storm and we needed a place to stay. We stayed at this lodge until the storm passed. I remembered you held me in your arms and tell me it's gonna be alright. It was really sweet of you." Scott said, smiling. "Yeah. I remember that too." Vincent said. "After the storm passed, we decided to explore the lodge to see if there's anything we'd like to take home. We ended up staying another night here because we found a lot of tourist attractions. I remember you got really excited when we got to the gift shop because you saw a lot of cute teddy bears." Scott said, chuckling. "Hehehe. Well, that was pretty childish of me." Vincent said, embarrassed. "Well, there's nothing wrong with being a child once in a while. Heck, I'm still a child at heart." Scott said, smiling. Vincent chuckled. "I guess we both are." He said. Soon, they arrived at a room with a waterfall and a starry sky. "Whoa..." Vincent stood there, staring in awe. "This room's beautiful, isn't it?" Scott asked. Vincent nodded. "I remember we used to go star-gazing in this room. Even though it was clearly a projector sky, we still enjoyed it. And..." Scott trailed off, blushing.
Vincent put a hand on Scott's shoulder. "Hey. It's alright. You can tell me anything." He said. Scott looked at Vincent. "We've... kissed each other countless times in this room. There was even a time when we almost... Um..." Scott blushed even more. Vincent looked down. "You can't remember?" Scott asked. Vincent shook his head. Scott looked at the waterfall. He wasn't sure if he wanted to do this, but if he wanted to get his memories back, he had to do this. "I might as well ask Vincent first." He thought. He put his hand on Vincent's shoulder. "Hey... Is it alright if I..." Scott said, blushing. Vincent got the hint and nodded. With that, both Scott and Vincent started to kiss passionately. Vincent wrapped his arms around Scott's neck as Scott wrapped his arms around Vincent's waist. He licked Vincent's bottom lip as if asking him for access. Vincent accepted and opened his mouth slightly. Both of their tongues danced around in their mouths as they fought for dominance. Scott won and he explored Vincent's mouth. Vincent gave out soft moans as he ran his hand through Scott's hair. Scott slipped his hand up Vincent's shirt and stroked his chest. Vincent shivered at Scott's touch and trailed his hand up and down his back. It sent shivers down Scott's spine as he continued to stroke his chest. They broke away, leaving a string of saliva connecting their mouths as they tried to catch their breath. Scott leaned in and started to kiss Vincent's neck. "Ahh... Mmm..." Vincent moaned as Scott continued to kiss his neck, his rough tongue nipping at his skin. Soon, Scott started to suck his neck. "Ahh! Ohh... Scott... Hah..." Vincent moaned loudly. Scott broke away, leaving a hickey. He kissed Vincent's lips again. With all of this happening, Vincent regained a memory. He and Scott are kissing in the same room as they did on the trip together. Scott whispered in Vincent's ear "I love you.". He was brought back to reality as he and Scott broke away.
"Hah... Hah..." Vincent panted, trying to catch his breath. "I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" Scott asked. Vincent shook his head. "No. You didn't. I... I remember... We were kissing in this room, just like this." He said. Scott smiled a little and gave Vincent a quick kiss on the lips. Vincent chuckled. Scott checked the time on his phone. "Well, we've been exploring for quite a while. It's almost lunchtime." He said. He held Vincent's hand. "Come on, Vincent. I'll get you something to eat." He said. Vincent nodded. "Alright." He said. The two of them started to walk to the door. "Hold on." Scott said. He got a scarf and wrapped it around Vincent's neck. "Here. That way, people won't get the wrong idea." Scott said. "But, people are gonna ask where I got the scarf." Vincent said. "I'll just say I bought it for you. Besides, it fits for the abnormal weather." Scott said. "Well... Thanks." Vincent said, smiling. "You're welcome. Now, come on." Scott said. With that, the two of them exited the room.
((Well, that was a short as hell chapter!))
