My Confession (Ross Lynch Fan Fiction)

Chapter 7

*Caitlin's POV*


Over the next few days R5 played their last few shows in Paris and soon we all prepared to head to London for a few days.


I packed the last few clothes into my case. "Done" I announced as Rydel entered our room again. "Awesome!" She smiled and laid down on her bed. "Are you excited to go back to London?" She asked.
"I guess so, I mean it's been a long time since I was last there. It will be weird to go back" I sat at the end of her bed and started to play with my thumbs. "If you don't mind me asking why did you leave the UK with your aunt?" Rydel sat up right and looked at me. Over the last few weeks I've become much closer with Rydel. Any hotel we stayed at we shared a room and we were the only girls on the bus. I'd finally found a friend and I really think I could trust her. I took a deep breath and turned around to face her. "My parents died when I was nine. And I had no other family expect my aunt. Who didn't really take any interest in me or my parents anyway. So I had to live with her, and we moved to America"


Rydel stood up and hugged me. I hugged her back smiling. It felt good to let someone else know my story, and not feeling I had to hide it away. "I'm really sorry" She squeezed me. "Don't be, it's in the past now. And I've moved out of my aunts. So I'm free" I smiled at my own comment. I was finally free from that awful women. I could do whatever I wanted.
"What are you gonna do when the tour's over?" Rydel asked letting me go and sitting back down next to me on the bed. "Hopefully find my own place" I replied smiling.


We sat there in silence for a few seconds.


"I have an idea!" Rydel eyes widened and then a evil smile spread across her face as she pulled a packet of water balloons out of her bag. I laughed as we teared open the packet an filled as many balloons as we could. We made our way to the boys room and waited outside the door. "Ready?" Rydel whispered. I nodded and she knocked on the door.


We waited a few seconds and the door opened. We didn't even bother to see who it was we just started throwing the balloons. I looked in front of me and saw Ellington trying to shield himself by pushing Rocky in front of him. They boys started yelling and trying to find somewhere to hide. Me and Rydel threw the balloons in all different directions so we didn't miss anyone out.


Suddenly all the balloons were gone. We just stood there as we looked at the boys dripping wet with angry looks on their faces. I turned to Rydel and we both burst out laughing.


By the time we'd finished our laughing fit we were on the floor with tears streaming down our faces. Suddenly I felt myself get lifted off the ground. I was slung over Ross's shoulder and Rocky did the same with Rydel. "What are you doing?!" I tried to kick my legs but Ross's grip was to tight. I looked up in front of me to see Rocky smiling "Pay back" He said simply. "What?!" Rydel and I said in unison. "You really thought we wouldn't get you back?" Ratliff laughed skipping down the hall beside us. "You guys prank us all the time! Let us off!" Rydel pleaded. All the boys laughed, there was no way of getting out of this.


By the time we got the bottom of the hotel we made our way outside and I could hear water and people laughing and talking. I started to struggle and kick my legs which made Ross tighten his grip around my waist. "You dare!" I heard Rydel shout. There was so stopping them. I felt Ross's arm loosen around me and next thing I knew I was underwater. I rose to the surface to find Rydel standing next to me. Both of us fully clothed standing up in the hotel pool. The boys couldn't stop laughing and then I saw Rocky holding his phone up in front of him. "Say hi!" He pointed to the phone and put his thumb up. "Now this is going to get a lot of likes!" Rocky laughed and he started typing something. I rolled my eyes as swam to the side of the pool. Ross extended his hand out, I smiled and I grabbed it. I started to climb out the pool but decided payback was fun. I stopped making my way out the pool and jumped straight back in not letting go of Ross in the process. We both fell underwater not letting go of each other's hands. When we finally reached the surface I quickly jumped out and turned around to the fully clothed blonde boy in the water. "Payback is fun!" I laughed.
