My Confession (Ross Lynch Fan Fiction)

Chapter 13

*Caitlin's POV*

After the moment with Ross in the pool I avoided him for the rest of the day. I went in for the kiss, and I don't know if he was as well! After everything that had happened I'd finally realised something. Where I needed to go-

"What's up with you?"

I snapped out of my daydream and saw Rydel staring at me.

"Oh nothing, just thinking"

"About?"

"Nothing"

"Hmmm."

I gave her a small smile and went back to the book I was reading. I'd read the same line sixteen times now, I keep getting distracted. We were all sat at the end of the tour bus keeping ourselves entertained. Rocky, Ryland and Ratliff were playing a video game, which was extremely loud. Riker was playing his base and Rydel was painting her nails. Ross was in his bunk, I guess he was trying to avoid me as well.

One by one everyone left to go to bed and soon it was just me and Rydel left.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked.

"Sure, anything!" She smiled.

"I've made up my mind about something." I took a deep breath. "I've decided I'm going to move to London after the tour is over".

I know it was a big decision. But I made my mind up a few days ago, and after the 'almost' kiss with Ross and the fact we can't even face each other just shows me it probably won't work out.

I looked at Rydel who just stayed silent.

"Well?" I asked.

Tears fell down her cheeks. "I'm going to miss you"

I felt myself begin to cry and ran over and hugged her. "I'll miss you too!"

"You're my best friend ok? You can't forget that when you go!"

"And your mine" I smiled. "I could never forget"

"I'm glad you've finally decided what to do though, but I wish you would stay"

"Other then you guys, I have nothing here."

"I understand" Rydel nodded.

"Thanks" I said quietly.

*Ross POV*

"I've decided I'm going to move to London after the tour is over" Caitlin said.

I caught my breath. Moving? What? Why? I was just on my way out to try and get some time with Caitlin alone. So I could kiss her properly and tell her how I felt. But now everything has just come crashing down. She's leaving. For good.

Suddenly I looked up and saw Rydel standing in front of me. "You heard?" She asked. I nodded slowly. My sister just hugged me tightly and whispered "I'm sorry". She walked past me to her bunk. Leaving me stood there on my own.

I walked to the back of the bus and saw Caitlin sat there opposite me. Her expression change instantly. No matter how hurt I was, I still wanted her. Everything about her made me smile. Just the thought of her not being around anymore just made me feel empty.

"Hi" She said quietly.

"Hey"

"Ross did you hear what I said?"

I nodded and she looked down at her hands.

"I'm sorry."

I sat down next to her and she began to cry. I instantly pulled her onto my lap and held her tight. I never want to let her go. "Hey, shhhh. It's okay" I soothed her. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes. "I don't want to hurt you Ross. That was never my intention. But I can't seem to find anything keeping me here" She sobbed.

"Then let me prove you wrong"

*Caitlin's POV*

"Then let me prove you wrong"

Next thing I knew Ross's lips were on mine. I was stunned for a few moments and then finally kissed him back. We both relaxed and he wrapped his arms around me and my arms made there way round his neck and up into his messy blonde hair. I felt sparks. I never wanted this moment to end. It was perfect. He was perfect.

After a while he finally pulled away and smiled at me. "Please don't leave" he said and I buried my head into his chest. "Because if you leave I don't know what I'd do" he whispered into my ear.

I climbed off his lap. "My parents though"

"What?"

"My Mom and Dad. I finally found them. They've been there all these years and I've been thousands of miles away. I want to be close to them" I felt warm tears fall down my face again. Ross brushed them away with his thumb.

"They've always been with you. How do you think you've been so strong?" He said softly. I looked down and he lifted my head up and kissed me softly.

"Just say you'll stay?" He sang softly.

I giggled and wrapped my arms around him. "Yes" I whispered and crashed my lips onto his. He kissed my back instantly. There were fireworks, sparks, everything! The whole lot.

Ross pulled away and planted small soft kisses on my forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and my lips. I snuggled down into his arms and laid my head down on his chest.

"Caitlin?"

*Ross's POV*

"Hmm?" She lifted her head and looked at me.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked quickly and I felt her tense up in my arms. Oh no. She was going to say no. I missed out on my first shot with her and now I've failed my second chance.

"Ross?"

I snapped out from my thoughts and looked down at Caitlin. "Yeah?"

"Did you hear what I said?"

I felt myself blush. "No...sorry"

She giggled and smiled at me. "Yes. I'll be your girlfriend"

I felt a huge smile spread across my face and I hugged her tightly in my arms.

She was mine. She was finally mine.
