My Confession (Ross Lynch Fan Fiction)

Chapter 33

*Ross's POV*

Once I was checked out at the hospital Mom and Dad had arranged for us to all go back to Colorado for a few weeks while the house was fixed. Just as I helped my brothers back the last bag in the van Caitlin wrapped her arms around my waist from behind.

"You should be resting. That's what the doctor said"

She had been so concerned about me and wouldn't let me do anything without already doing first or beating me to it. She keeps insisting she should help me because she's the one who left the house. I try and disagree but it doesn't work.

"I only packed the car" I protested but I just got 'the look'. I sighed and kissed her forehead.

"I just worry about you okay? Last week you were pulled out underneath a pile of rubble."

"I know baby, I love you for it but I'm fine now. Just a few cuts and bruises. I'm a big boy, I can handle it" I smirked and she shoved me lightly.

"That's what you think!" She laughed. I held my heart acting like I was hurt but she just shook her head and walked back towards the hotel we'd been living in the past couple of days. I sneaked up behind her and spun her around. She let out a giggle and begged me to put her down.

Once I did she turned around and glared at me. I puckered up my lips and she gave me a light kiss. Once we pulled away everyone was climbing into the van. We had to take two cars since there was more people this time. Mom, Dad, Ryland, Rydel, Riker and Maddy were in the van. Me, Caitlin, Rocky and Rachel were in Rocky's car.

"I get to meet your family" Caitlin said climbing into the back of the car.

"Me too!" Rachel cheered sitting in the passenger seat.

"They'll love you" I whispered to Caitlin and she gave me one of her beautiful smiles.

We started off the long drive back to my hometown. I missed Colorado. Even though my life is in California and is amazing I can't help but miss my family life back home sometimes. What makes it even better is now I can introduce my family to Caitlin.

Half to Colorado we stopped off at a motel and slept. By morning Rocky complained that he was to tired to drive so I took over the role of navigator.

After what felt a never ending car journey we finally made it home. Mom and Dad were renting out the cabin for six weeks so we could use it as holiday before we went on tour again. It was almost the end of November so we would he here for Christmas and my birthday as well.

We all got given our rooms. Mine and Caitlin's was at the far end of the house. We took our bags in and started

to unpack.

Sometimes flashbacks of the tornado. Outside trying to find my girlfriend. As the tornado was getting closer I tried to find some shelter. Before I could even get down inside the basement the house started to fall.

Next thing I knew Caitlin was sat in front of me and we were in the middle of a destroyed street.

"Ross?" Caitlin tapped my shoulders and I snapped out of my thoughts.

"You okay?" She asked.

I nodded and kissed her cheek.

*Caitlin's POV*

"I'm so tired!" I moaned falling back onto the bed.

"Your tired? You slept most of the journey!" Ross scoffed as he put away his last piece of clothing.

"Poor baby!" I teased. Ross smirked and laid down beside me on the bed and started to tickle me.

"NO ROSS! STOP!" I begged and he tickled my sides.

"Tell me you love me!" Ross laughed as we tickled me more.

"I love you! I love you! I love you!" I repeated and Ross stopped tickling me.

I can't believe he's 18!!! And that R5 are now an adult band!
