I wiped the tears off my sister's face and stood her up in front of me. I stood up and brushed off the leaves that stuck to my pants while Julia picked up Talia because she had set her down before leaping into my hug. I felt so happy and I had a good little break so I decided to get going again. "Do you want me to carry you, again?" I asked my little red-head.
She shook her head, "I can walk."
I smiled and held out my hand. She shot me the biggest smile and took my hand. We walked through the woods without a care in the world.
After many minutes, maybe an hour, of walking, we came across a train station that seemed almost completely empty. I looked at my sister and said, "You may not let go of my hand at all! Talia is so small that she can sit in my pocket and you can hold your bunny with the other, ok?"
"Yes mam!" she said with a little salute and giggled. With that, I took the kitten from her a set her in my pocket and we walked into the station. It was very spacey and had a giant digital clock on the left wall that said, '4:17'.
We walked up to the desk manager and asked, "Hello. How much are tickets and when does the next train leave?"
"And just how old are you, miss?" he asked me.
"Sorry, forgot! Our mom was bringing us onto the train when my sister said she needed to use the restroom and she accidentally flushed our tickets," I lied. I hated lying but we needed to to get on the train. I was surprised I had a story so quickly, though.
The man looked at us for a moment and nodded, "Tickets are $5 per person 6 and up and 5 and under are $2. The next train leaves at 2:15."
"Thank you so much!" I exclaimed and pulled my bag off of my back and dug out $7. I gave the man his money and took our tickets.
"Have a good...morning, I guess," he replied.
I put my bag back on my back, waved, and walked off while holding my sister's hand in search for our train. We went up some stairs and found a train going north to a place called, 'Sekai Academy'. The place sounded nice so I got on the north train which was, for whatever reason, completely empty of people. After it stopped and we got off, I realized that this train station was a little more sanitary then the last one.
"I thought train stations were supposed to be filthy," my sister wondered aloud.
I covered my mouth with my hand as I chuckled and replied to her, "You're so cute!" The station looked like just any station but it was a lot nicer, no trash or gum on the ground and the seats were completely clean.
'These guys got an awesome janitor!' I thought to myself and we walked over to the door and left. We found ourselves in the middle of a forrest of trees.
"Hey look!" my sister told me while tugging at my pant leg.I turned around and saw that the station wasn't there anymore and a ways behind it was this place that kinda looked like a academy.
"It's...Seeka Acad...what does it say?" my sister asked while trying to read the sign on the gate.
'Sekai Academy, we made it,' I thought to myself.
"Sekai Academy, this is where I think we should live, now. Everyone looks nice. Oh, wait," I told my sister as I took off my backpack. "Where is it...Ah!" I mumbled to myself as I dug through my bag and got out the black wig I packed. I set the wig on my sister's head, put my braided hair on the top of my head, took my wig back with one hand still on my head, and put the wig with a built-in hairnet on my head.
"You look like a boy!" my sister said in between her giggles.
"Ex...actly!" I said while tickling her making her squeak, squeal, and fall to the ground. I pulled her back up off the ground making her go a little higher than necessary and brushed off the leaves that stuck to her back and legs.
"You ready?" I asked my sister and she nodded quickly. We walked through the gates but, little did I know, it would change our lives forever...
