(BTS) Jin//Pretty Great

"This is going to be super fun!" I exclaimed as I excitedly threw open the car door on the passenger seat.

Jin chuckled as he opened the driver's seat putting his keys in the ignition. "I wouldn't get too excited; it's just a small gathering. We'll have a glass of wine or two, share a few laughs and then head home."

As the car started, music from the radio started playing. I silently hummed along while sinking into my seat, "Hooray for being an adult."

"I know; you should've fulfilled your wild body shots party dream before you hit 29."

"This isn't fair! I bet you went so many crazy parties when you were an idol," I pouted.

Jin took my hand into one of his as he kept his eyes on the road, "I have, and trust me, they aren't exactly the fun you were hoping for. "

Jin held open the door for me while I unenthusiastically left the car, "I actually thought we were going to have fun," I paused to sigh. "But we're going to be talking about how great everyone's lives are going."

"It's not as bad as it seems, Y/N," Jin patted my back as he locked the car. Ringing the doorbell, we stood at the door.

"Oh, Y/N & Jin! Glad you could make it," Jin's friend stepped aside to let us in. I eyed Jin ,as we walked into the living room.

"Hey guys!" Jin greeted. "You know Y/N already, right?"

Scattered voices replied as we took a seat on the couch.

We all let out half-hearted laughs as everyone went around telling stories. After sitting for quite awhile, I felt the need to stretch my legs, so I excused myself to the restroom. I maneuvered my way through the house until I found the bathroom. Placing my hand on the door knob, it turned before I could apply any pressure to it.

The door opened, and I stepped back, so I could let the person pass me, "Excuse me," he said.

"Oh, no problem," I replied greeting him a smile.

"Y/N, right?" he asked.

"Yep, I really have to use the restroom now, so I'll see you back in the living room." Turning around to walk into the restroom, I heard him mutter something under his breath.

"That ass is pretty great." (I'm sorry pls)

I froze as I stared back at him. He let out a sly smile as he rubbed the back of his neck after realizing I had heard him. Struggling to reply, I fumbled with my words, "Uhm..."

It wasn't until the masculine voice that I've grown to love interjected did I regained my sense of thought. "You know what else is pretty great?" he asked while sending the poor boy an intimidating stare.

The boy attempted to regain his confidence, but his voice wavered as he replied, "W-What?"

"Well, aside from that pretty great ass, the ring on her left hand is to die for," he wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer.

I gave a sympathetic look to the boy while stating the obvious, "This is my husband, Jin. And although I'm flattered, I only have eyes for him."

"Ah, I see," the boy's demeanor seemed to change completely when Jin showed up. He apologized before leaving to go downstairs.

After he left, Jin turned to me, "I should really never leave your side."

I smiled and gave him a kiss on his cheek, "I would like that, but that statement shouldn't apply to me using the restroom."

"I know; I know," Jin replied.

"Can we go home now?" I asked after realizing we were still at this boring gathering.

"Sure. I was getting tired too."
