Omg this scene gave mixed feels ~ "So, hows Yuni?" you asked fumbling with your sleeve. If it weren't for damn coincidences, you wouldn't be standing here in your ex-husband's office.
"She's doing good," he replied while looking at his clipboard.
"Ah, that's good."
Adjusting his glasses, Jin looked up at you, "So, what's up?"
"I've been very dizzy lately—major headaches, vomiting, and blackouts," you replied.
He looked up at you curiously as he took his stethoscope and placed it on your back—him leaning over you, "Alright. I'm going to go through your normal checkup first, and then, we'll see your options."
He wrote down some stuff before continuing the normal everyday checkups.
After about 30 minutes, Jin finished his clipboard writing and turned to you. "Uhm, we might need to do a urine test—or blood test whichever you're comfortable with. However, I know you don't like needles, so I'm guessing you'd rather do the urine test?"
"N-No, I'm okay; I think I'll just do the needle test," you stated uneasily.
"Are you sure? Remember what happened last time—" Jin worriedly asked, but you assured him.
"I'm sure," somehow, you managed to sound more confident in your choice, but in all honesty, you just didn't want to pee in a cup while someone stood outside.
"Okay," Jin sighed in defeat. ~
Jin started to bring out the materials when he decided to break the silence, "So,"
"So," you replied watching as he rubbed the sanitary cloth on your shoulder.
"Anything new?"
Shaking your head, Jin nodded, "Well, I got a cat."
"Really, you did?" you asked semi-happy.
"Yeah, Yuni convinced me, and we named him after that one TV show—y'know the with the kid who always took off his shirt. You were obsessed with it."
"Gibby?" You asked.
"Yep. He's nothing like the actual Gibby though; he reminds me of Yoongi, seriously. He's always sleeping and being grumpy," he continued to tell stories of how Yuni would always beg of getting a cat. At this time, Jin brought the needle near your shoulder, and you flinched. Jin took notice of this and gave you the reassuring 'don't-worry-I'm-a-doctor' smile.
