Chapter Four: Convince & Fail

"Hey harry! I've missed you." I said to my phone, grinning wildly.

"uum yeah, hey." harry replied nonchalantly.

"uum what's up?" I asked nervously, his tone sounding quite off.

"Nothing." He says.

And the line goes quiet, for a moment I think he's hung up on me, but then he talks again.

"Kellie, I don't think we can be friends anymore." He said.

"You're kidding, right?" I said, trying to convince myself that harry was just pulling some kind of prank on me.

"No. I don't want to have any connections with you. At all." He said with such a cold tone, I shivered.

A tear slipped down my cheek, "W-what?" I said, my voice breaking.

"Can't you take any hints? I haven't been calling you or texting you because I never want to see you again, understand?" He said.

More tears slipped down my face, and my breath hitched.

"Fuck you." I whispered harshly, and put the phone down.

"Wake up kellie! Why are you crying?" I heard my mum say to me.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was on the floor, my face stained with fresh tears.

"Oh. it was just a dream" I said, sighing.

"Was it a dream about Harry?" she said smiling a comforting smile. I just nodded.

My mum knew me so well.

She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me tightly. "It's okay honey, even if it's been two years, I know it still hurts." she said caressing my hair, "I know how it feels." she whispered.

I closed my eyes and laid my head on her shoulder.

"Thank you." I whispered into her ear. I felt her smile against my arm, and I felt okay.
