"Louis, Harry..." I trail off.

Harry stares at me, quite perplexed, and so does Louis.

"What're you doing here, Kellie?" Louis asks, and I turn around to look at Logan, but that is when I notice he has already fallen asleep.

"I'm going to this event.. with Logan." I say, and Louis raises an eyebrow while Harry calls a stewardess for drinks, looking quite unaffected.

"I thought you broke up with him?" Louis asks, Harry still not paying any attention to us at all, and if he feels even a bit jealous he's not showing it.

"Ermm I-" I start to say but then I focus on Harry.

He doesn't seem to notice me staring, because he is too busy flirting with the bloody stewardess.

She leans down so that her chest is eye level with his stare, and she blinks oh so very innocently at him, and I have to hold back a scoff at the sight.

Finally Harry catches my eye, and I stare at him accusingly.

His lips form a sly smirk, and if he wasn't responding to the stewardess' advances, he sure as hell is responding to them now.

He laughs and teases her, making the girl blush and giggle.

I almost want to vomit.

I turn to Louis and notice he is also looking at them with disgust.

"Sorry." He mouths, and I nod and mouth an okay.

Then the captain makes an announcement for take off and all the stewards and stewardesses get back to their seats while the rest of the passengers buckle their seat belts.

Sweat falls down a side of my face, and remembering Harry knew me so well, his face is suddenly full of cencern.

"Ellie.." He starts, but I ignore him.

"Louis." I whisper, trying to catch Louis' attention, he looks up from the magazine he was reading and raises an eyebrow.

"Hold my hand please." I mouth, as I held out an outstretched arm, I always need to hold a hand when I'm in a plane, to keep my composure and Louis seems to be the only viable candidate right now.

He seems to get my situation clearly, and lightly grazes my hand before Harry's beautiful hand grabs mine.

He sends a death glare to Louis, and Louis leans back on his chair, and closes his eyes, not minding Harry's rash behavior.

I try to pull my hand away, but then Harry's grip on me only tightens.

He doesn't look at me, but at the floor, and he doesn't say anything.

"Let go." I finally say, but he only shakes his head.

"Harry-"

"No. I know how much you hate airplane rides. Just let me hold your hand until we're steady in the sky." He says, still refusing to make eye contact with me.

"But-" And then the plane starts moving, first at a slow speed but gradually getting faster and faster.

I shut my eyes, and suddenly I am gripping Harry's hand tightly, as the plane starts ascending to the sky.

My ears start popping, and I use my other hand to pinch my nose and breath through my mouth.

"It's okay.. I'm here." I hear Harry say, barely above a whisper.

I relax, only a bit, but still keeping an iron grip on his hand.

"Ellie, it's okay. It's almost over." He assures, and I open my eyes to see his eyes planted on mine.

And then we're softly flying in the air, and Harry keeps his hand on mine a moment longer before letting go, and moves his gaze to the tv, or monitor in front of him.

I look away as quickly as he does, and I wipe the sweat on my hands on my pants.

The stewardess comes back, a smile etched on her face, probably hoping to be more frisky with Harry.

He barely pays anymore attention to her, and looks only at the movie playing on his screen.

She stays a moment longer, and touches his arm.

"Would you like anything, sir?" She says, practically purring.

He looks at her with disgust, but totally masks it with a straight face.

"No thank you." He says, retreating his arm away from her.

She looks quite offended, and leaves with a scowl on her face.

I hold back a chuckle, and I cover my mouth to keep my smile hidden.

Harry apparently catches the small gesture, and raises an intricate eyebrow at me, to which I reply with rolling my eyes.

He smiles, for the first time since he got on the plane, and I look to the clouds to keep myself from smiling back.

when you're not around

because when you are,

you're enough to light

the whole galaxy up.
