Kai POV
I hear footsteps and I knew that they were approaching the dorm.
I hear the door open, as my heart raced. Let's just hope this surprise would be successful.
"Why are the lights all off?" I hear Taehyeon ask.
"I don't know, maybe they all went to take a break too."
I signal for Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Xiumin, Suho and Chen to come out and start the birthday song.
TAEHYEON POV
"happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.. happy birthday to Taehyeon... happy birthday to you!"
Upon seeing them, my jaw dropped. "Omo!"
They remembered my birthday!
Then I see the rest of the members appear with the cake.
It had flowers of my favorite color on it. They were purple, my favorite color. There were many penguins on the cake, my favorite animal.
When the lights turned on, I see the different decorations and I was stunned.
"Happy birthday, dearest Manager!" They chorus.
"You knew about this?" I ask Lay.
He nodded his head, "happy birthday."
"Omo guys! Thank you so much! When did you guys plan this?"
"You're welcome. We planned it when you were unaware of course!" Sehun smirked.
We burst into laughter, as I say, "aish sehunnie."
"Presents time! " Chen exclaimed.
They took turns giving me their presents as i unwrapped it, beautiful presents greeting me.
Chen gave me a bracelet.
Xiumin - a book.
Suho- Fashionable clothes.
Kyungsoo- Earrings.
Sehun- A joke book( I was expecting it)
Chanyeol- Nail polish.
Lay- Squishies and a bouquet of flower.
As I tore open Jongin's present, a grand tiara caught my eye.
It was made of pure gold and silver, with shining diamonds etched on both sides of it.
"Wow! Thank you, Jongin oppa!"
He smiled and help me put it on. When I see myself in the mirror, I was astounded at how I changed with just one tiara. Not self praising, but I looked stunning.
"You look so pretty!" Kyungsoo complimented.
"Thank you!"
"Here's your present, Taehyeon," Baekhyun handed me the present with hearts printed on the wrapper. He looked shy. He was blushing.
I carefully unwrapped the present and opened the box. There laid the necklace I wanted.
"Omo baekhyunnie! You got me my favorite necklace? And... it was the color I wanted from my childhood... How did you know I wanted that specific color?" I ask upon seeing it was sapphire blue and sea green.
Taking in a deep breath, he confessed, "Taehyeon, I... am that childhood friend."
