C28 My childhood friend

annyeonghaseyeo readers !!!! okay so here's the chapterrrrrr ahhhh okay errr i srsly spent like 28389394837 days doing this Chapter basically I spent v v v long writing this and wrecking my brains but I produced a shitty chapter aiiii , still hope u enjoy it guys💜

"MWO!!!" That was my first reaction . yes literally.

"Childhood friend... What!?" I mutter in utter confusion.

Just then, Jongin ran up to Baekhyun and covered his mouth.

"What in the world are you telling that to her for? You jealous and wanna get closer with her or what u idiot!" He shouted at his face.

Baekhyun simply shrugged his shoulders, "what did I do?"

Calming myself down, I managed to say, "So... he's that childhood friend I loved and wanted to marry? Should have seen that coming. But why are you so agitated?"

"Dammit Taehyeon, oh well nevermind about that," Jongin fumed with anger as he plopped down on the sofa.

"Are you serious. Okay we have so much in common now AHHH, unbelievable . Daebak!" I say still in confusion and disbelief.

(A/N gna type in italic now cause my phone is spoilt idk why so yeah)

"Kekeke taehyeonnie, I guess we really do have a lot in common," Baekhyun patted my head, flashing a broad smile.

"Don't act all lovey-dovey in the dorm. It's study time now you know. According to the timetable," Jongin rolled his eyes.

Sehun smirked, "Seriously Jongin. Well I'm not a nerd. I'm interested in Baek and Tae's relationship matters."

Soon after, we calmed down as we sat at our seats doing our work.

I was sitting beside Jongin and it was pretty awkward.

"Sorry for erupting and screaming at your face just now. I just didn't want and expect Baek to confess about that matter then," Jongin made the first move as he said softly, not disturbing the rest. But he was still looking at his books though.

"Ah.. you knew about it? And... why were you so angry? Anything perhaps?" I leaned closer and asked.

"Yeah I knew about it long time ago. I was your br....." He immediately stopped himself from carrying on.

Br?? what?!

KAI POV

okay that was close. Way to close about that brother thing.

Taehyeon POV

"okay sorry nevermind about that. eh where was I.. oh yeah. why was I so angry? I didn't want you to know... you were his childhood friend. I just didn't. maybe I wanted you for myself. I don't know anymore," He said, looking down at his gold and silver sneakers. Royal-like sneakers.

But okay. the tough and cool guy I see everyday being so saddened was just weird. Really weird.

I knew I couldn't always stay with Jongin only though. He gets jealous too easily. And now knowing baek is my childhood friend, we have lots more to talk about. That means we'll be spending more time together. Jongin is gonna be jealous again. But I would have to ignore that fact. Jongin is always jealous.

"Are you good at Biology?" I ask Jongin.

"Er, good but not that good. Why?"

"Ah.. then I'll ask the bio expert," I replied as I turned around to ask for help from baek.

"I need help with this bio question. It's hard. Thanks haha."

Baekhyun simply peered at the question and stifled a laugh.

"What so funny?"

"It's so easy , it's one of the easiest questions in our booklet you know. Are you serious Tae?" he said.

I flipped through the booklet. He's right. And I don't know how to do a single question.

I began laughing out loud, "Sorry I'm not smart enough."

"Please shush," Jongin said sharply.

"Alright then. Jongin we would be heading out to the library. I need to help her with bio and get her some reference books to read. Her bio is a wreck." Baekhyun explained.

"Sure, just make sure it's real studying. Bye," he nodded his head in approval.

On the way to the library, Baekhyun asked," How is it like being my childhood friend now?"

By then we had already reached the library so I had to reply softly, "Feels better. I feel more comfortable with you. I like it. I actually do ahhaha."

"Aww, good to hear that. Now we better get to work or I'm gonna get killed by Jongin."

I attempt some of the questions Baekhyun helped me with while he picked out some reference books for me.

"So thick?!" I whined.

"Yes Taehyeon, they're good books you know. You need to read more and buck up with that bio standard you got."

"Oh fine..."

"Don't act so restless, not to worry I'll read them with you," he smiled a gentle one.

"Sure?"

"Yeah of course, my pleasure."
