A Mysterious Liquid...

Choice: Give yourself up

Jesse's POV.

"Fine! I'll go with you. Just don't hurt them."

The villager chuckled. He grabbed me by the hand and ordered the other villagers to free Petra and Lukas.

"W-Wait! Jesse!"

"Jesse! Don't!!"

I sighed as their voices faded away. But my mind is filled with curiosity. What will this villager do to me? Perhaps I can beat him, since, villagers aren't that smart.

He pushed towards a chair and chained me up. I don't think this guy wants emeralds.

"You are my test subject. Now stay still or it will hurt, a lot. And oh, I'm not after your emeralds." He grinned evily. "I just hope you'll survive."

I gulped as there was something injecting liquid into me. I immediately felt pain, and cold. Weird. But some seconds later, it was living hell to me.

After that horrible test, he still chained me up to a chair.

"Wonderful. It worked! And too bad, you must be strong. Or else no one could have survived that." I rolled my eyes.

"When can you let me go?" I asked, impatiently.

"Oh, well you see," He placed his test reports down and looked at me. "Since you're so strong, I figured that it will be best for you to stay here and be my test subject. Until you die."

I flinched and growled at him. So I'll be here? Forever? Well, maybe until I die. But if I /kill myself, I can't come back to this server anymore. (This server is hardcore...)

I tried to move, but every muscle in my body ached. I groan in frustration. Just what is that liquid?

"Trayaurus! Where are you?" A voice came from upstairs. The villager rolled his eyes. After that he went out of the room and out of the church.

I laughed. He couldn't be that dumb to leave me here, right?

I tried to reach for my diamond sword in my inventory. Once I grabbed it, I slash the chains off me. I felt relived after I was free.

Still having a little pain, I sneakily escaped the church and wandered in the village to look for clues. Where have Petra and Lukas gone?

"Jesse!"

I heard Petra's voice. She dashed from an empty house, followed by Lukas, and Melanie.

She ran and hugged me tightly. I blushed and hugged back.

I think she noticed what she just done, so she blushed and pulled away.

"I'm so glad you're alive!" Petra exclaimed. She seemed very worried.

"Hey, no matter what, I'll survive." I said. She looked at me happily.

"I knew you would made it." Lukas said as well. We did a fist bump and laughed.

Melanie said that they were planing to save me from the church, but turns out I showed up too early.

We said goodbye to her as she went off into the woods.

"Did you guys know where to go?" I asked them. Lukas pointed to the left.

"Yeah, Melanie gave us a map of this biome. We should be able to find out way back to the town." Me and Petra nodded.

While we were walking, my mind kept on thinking about something.

What is that liquid?

Well, it must have a time limit, then it will run out. I sighed and caught up to my friends. Lukas is leading the way, while Petra is just enjoying the view.

I suddenly felt dizzy, and I fell forward.

"Huh? Jesse! You okay?"

"What- Jesse!"

I got up slowly and nodded. "I'm fine. Just tripped."

They raised and eyebrow. I laughed and said, "I'm fine, really." I got up again and started walking. But I notice something strange about my hunger bar.

It... decreased?

I gasped softly as I don't want Lukas and Petra to check on me again. By dusk, we finally reached the town.

But there was something wrong. Really wrong.

"What... why are the walls like this? And... there's so much moaning!" Lukas exclaimed.

"There must be tons of mobs in there. Get behind me." Petra said. We obeyed her and she opened the door to the town.

It. Was. Chaos.

Everyone was running around, screaming and shouting. Fire was everywhere, houses were torn down, and loads of mobs were attacking.

What's worse, is that there are some players just walking around. Are they stupid?

I rushed up to one of them and yelled, "Get out of the town! You'll get killed!"

He turned his head slowly, and I couldn't believe what I saw.

He has his player skin, but it was dark purple. His eyes were one white and one dark. It sorta looked like he was the zombies from TWD.

"Grr.... tar-get..."

"What?" I backed away.

"Found... found!"

"Ahh!!" He jumped on me and looked like he wanted to eat me. I drew my sword and kick him off. I didn't want to kill him, but I guess knocking him off would be okay.

"Petra! Lukas! Jesse!"

Axel and Olivia were running towards us, with a bunch of player like zombies behind them.

"Hang on!" I shouted. I ran towards the zombies.

Oops.

That was a mistake.

Their attention turned towards me, and I didn't know what to do. If I kill them... that would be PVP. And it's not allowed on this server. I can't knock them out either. There's too many.

But if I don't fight, I have a 1% chance to escape.

Choice:

1. Kill the players.

2. Run away.
