Dreama was at home that evening watching tv waiting on Volf to get home from his scouting. She smiled softly and glad he had gone to see his brother and mom, and had reconnected with them. He had told her that they were going to come over for dinner that weekend which she didn't mind she loved spending time with his family. She yawned some as she watched some late night sitcom waiting for him to get home, when she decided to go get a shower so when he got home they could go to bed after he got cleaned up for bed.
Dreama enjoyed her hot shower which relaxed her to the point of falling asleep on the couch. She was wearing one of his old practice football jersey's and a pair of shorts. Dreama woke up at about 4am worried that he wasn't home yet from his scouting, Volf had told her that he would be home before midnight. She frowned as she looked at her phone and saw no phone calls on her phone or text messages. Dreama sat up and walked to the window watching out at the city that was pretty much asleep, she jumped hearing something hit the door.
She ran to the door and cracked it open and saw him on the ground and she threw the door open and knelt down touching his face. "Volf? She saw him open his eyes and groan softly. "Come on Volf let's get you inside and laying down." He nodded and with a groan getting up slowly, Dreama didn't see blood except from his nose. Volf looked like he was in a fight and was on the losing end of it. She moved to get him out of his shirt. "Perhaps we should take you to the ER to get looked at Volf." He shook his head and spoke softly, "No, I will be alright just under estimated these young vampires."
She sighed softly and moved her hands over his nose and didn't feel anything broken there, and when she pressed slightly against his ribs she heard him hiss in pain and felt the slight movement and the breaks. "You have broken ribs I need you to sit up so I can wrap you up." He nodded and closed his eyes tight as she helped him and then wrapped his chest. She gently helped him lay down on the bed, and then moved to go get him some tylonal at least to take the edge off the pain. Volf grabbed her hand. "Please lay down with me Dreama." "I will Volf I am going to get you something for the pain to help take it down a notch." He shook his head slightly. "No Dreama I don't need it."
She gently moved the hair from his eyes. "Yes you do Volf, I want you to go get xrays to make sure you aren't going to end up with a punctured lung from your ribs. I will honor your wish to not to go to the hospital but you will take something for the pain." She sat beside him and took his handpaw into her hand. "At least let me do that Volf." He shook his head and winced sitting up some and growled gently as she reached to make him lay back down. "No Dreama I need a clear head and pain relievers will fog my mind." "Volf over the counter will not fog your mind at all so lay back down and I will be right back."
Dreama made him lay back down, she then walked to the bathroom and got him 4 ibprophan to help with the swelling and the pain. She gently lifted his head with her arm and he hesitantly took the pills and swallowed them with the water and she gently laid his head down. Dreama then went and got a wash cloth and cleaned him up some. After that she laid down beside him close enough for him to be able to touch her and have her tucked into his side which she was careful of to prevent him from hurting himself more.
Dreama woke up in the morning and saw Volf still sound asleep, she slowly got up from the bed and walked into the kitchen to get some coffee brewing. She sighed softly and then looked up hearing Volf walk into the kitchen. "How are you feeling this morning?" He looked up at her and smiled a little bit. "Like I got the crap beat out of me." She smiled softly and reached up into the cabinet and got him some more ibprophen along with a glass of water. "No Dreama I don't need any of those." Dreama sighed and sat next to him at the kitchen table. "Yes you do need some more Volf you are in pain I can see it in your eyes.
Volf sighed softly and shook his head, "No Dreama I am alright, maybe a bit sore and not able to move around alot today, but I need to not rely on those. I have to go back out tonight and see where they have their coven hidden." Dreama was just about to say something to him when he touched her hand. "Dreama getting into fights like this, and I need to go out so they don't think that I am easily beat."
Dreama nodded her head, "Alright Volf but please don't go up to any of them until your ribs are healed. If you get hit in them again it might puncture a lung and if that happens you are going to the hospital no arugments. " Volf nodded and leaned foward with a wince to give her a softy kiss. "Okay dear I will give into that condition." Dreama smiled and then stood up to cook some breakfast for them.
"Once I am done with cooking breakfast I will unwrap your ribs and rewrap them afer you get a shower you need to get cleaned up. I will also rewrap you before you go out again tonight just to make sure it's good and tight and you won't be hurting too much." She walked over and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek, and he smiled. "That sounds good my love I will do as you tell me to do when it comes to those suggestions."
"You make it sounds like you had some sort of say in it Volf dear." He did his best to not laugh and move his ribs. "My love you are always in charge and will always be in our relationship." Dreama smiles and finishes cooking their breakfast and then sits down with him as they ate breakfast together.
After their breakfast Dreama helped Volf get the bandages off from around his chest so he could take a shower. Dreama had made him take a couple ibprophan so his shower wouldn't be too awefully painful and once he was out of the shower Dreama made him sit down on the bed and wrapped bandages around his chest tighter than she had for the night before when he laid down so he could move around some more.
Dreama smiled and watched him. "Why don't you go into the living room andsit down and relax some today I am going to clean up the dishes and around the house." Volf smiled and reached his hand out to her. "Please come and sit with me I want to spend time with you again tonight." Dreama sighed and nodded her head. "Alright I will come sit down with you." They ended up sitting up on the couch snuggled together carefully so as to not hurt Volf's ribs, and they both ended up falling asleep.
