Dreama was working around the house while Volf was sleeping in their room. She knew he wouldn't get up again after they had their disagreement that morning. He was sore from her having to close up his wound again in his thigh. She heard knocking on the door and answered it, she smiled softly seeing Trooper and Lily. Dreama let them into the house and hugged both, walking into the living room Trooper asked Dreama about Volf. "How is he doing today?"
Dreama sighed softly and sat down in the recliner as Trooper and Lily sat on the sofa. "Well he and I had a disagreement. I told him about our idea about you going out with him Trooper. You can guess he said no, and I kept pushing back about the idea, when he stood up I didn't go to help him and he kept disagreeing. I then put logic into why we felt it was a good idea, and he finally said that it was a good idea. I had to close up his thigh wound again, but he is alright for the most part."
Trooper chuckled and nodded his head "Yeah I can imagine he hated the idea,but at least you got him to listen to reason. So has he stayed in bed since you had that discussion?" Dreama nodded "Yeah he has, and he went to sleep because I gave him more pain meds. Though I am sure he will start refusing those in a day or so. " She shrugs and then gets up to check on the meal she was cooking in the kitchen. "Are you guys going to stay long I have lunch cooking and there should be plenty. I am not sure if Volf is going to want to eat when he wakes up, he probably will be hungry considering the blood loss and the last time he ate."
Lily smiled and nodded. "Yeah we will be staying for a while I know Trooper wants to talk to Volf when he wakes up for a while, and you know I miss spending time with my favorite sister in law." Dreama smiles and nods her head. " I miss spending time with you as well Lily, and I am sure that Trooper's and Volf's converstation will go over well. They tend to disagree more than agree with topics, and I am sure that Volf just caved into me so I would drop it." Trooper laughed listening to Lily and Dreama. "You know us too well Dreama." Dreama smirked and looked at him, "Well Trooper Volf and I were friends since high school started dating in College so we have been around eachother the three of us for what 15 years now. I would hope by that time I would know you two pretty well." Trooper nods and laughs again. "yeah yeah I am going to check on Volf now and let you ladies talk."
Dreama nods and smiles "Alright Trooper, but please don't push him too much right now. He needs to rest he's had a rough day and a half." Trooper nods, "I will behave but I can't say the same for my brother." Trooper left the room to go see Volf while Dreama and Lily talk in the kitchen.
Dreama looks at Lily, "So how is Trooper really handling this whole thing with Volf." Lily sighs, "He was pacing half the night in our room and when he finally laid down he really didn't sleep much, I snuggled up to him and he held me which seemed to calm him down, but I think he really didn't calm down until we got here and you told him how Volf was doing." Dreama nodded, "That sounds like what I expected him to do, I remember when Trooper had a pretty bad car accident I think it was our Freshman year in college so it was Trooper's senior year in high school. Volf was a mess until he got to the hospital and saw for himself." Lily nodded "For being half brothers they really are close to eachother, not many are like that with half siblings."
Dreama smiled softly and nodded "That is true, but they are close and I am Thankful for that fact. I know it's helped them both when they had issues. It was funny as soon as I told Volf yes for dating him and then later after he proposed the first person he called was Trooper." Lily nodded "Yeah I remember when he called about you saying yes to him proposing he was so nervous he paced our apartment for probably 3 hours before he left to take you out."
Dreama laughed softly, "That sounds like Volf. He really is an amazing man, and I am lucky to have him." Dreama smiled at Lily, and then frowned when they heard yelling in Dreama and Volf's room. "What the hell are they fighting about now?" Lily looked at Dreama "Should we go check on them or should we let them work it out on their own without us going in and taking care of the issue." "I don't know Lily I just don't want Volf to try and get out of bed again. If he does, he's not going to heal properly." Lily nodded, "Yes but I think that he will probably behave." Dreama looked up hearing more yelling and then hears something crash.
Dreama ran to her and Volf's room with Lily close behind her, when she opened the door, she saw Volf still in bed and Trooper on the floor with his hand covering his eye and one of their lamps on the floor. Lily was kneeling beside Trooper as Dreama moved towards Volf who was clutching his bad shoulder. "Okay boys what the hell happened in here, and no lies you both I know I can tell when either of you are lying." Trooper looked towards Dreama then towards his brother. "He has a temper and threw the damn lamp at me, and I wasn't able to get out of the way quick enough." "Trooper has to learn to have more speed and that is why he is not going with me when I am looking for the vampires."
Volf winces feeling Dreama's hands removing the bandages, when he spoke Dreama stopped and looked at him. "Excuse me Volf you already agreed with me and you are not going back on it." "Dreama it's not safe and he's not going if he can't even dodge a lamp that I threw with my bad arm." Dreama stood up and looked at him with hurt in her eyes. "Volf if you think I am going to stand for this behavior from you, you are sadly mistaken." Dreama stood up and looked at Lily "Will you finish up with his shoulder please I will take care of Trooper's eye." Lily nodded and moved to finish with Volf's bandages as Dreama leads Trooper out of the room.
Lily looked at Volf "You really should not have done or said that to Dreama and Trooper. They are looking out for you." Lily was a bit rough with Volf's shoulder causing him to growl softly. "Oh shut it you know you aren't going to hurt me at all, but you have hurt both my best friend and fiance what are you going to do to fix it. Dreama loves you with all her heart, and Trooper respects and loves you, you are being selfish and irrisponsible behaving like this and causing more worry and stress than necessary to them. You had better stay in this bed and think long and hard about what you are doing and saying to them." Lily finished with his shoulder and stood up, she then left the room to throw away the old bandages and check on Dreama and Trooper.
Volf had quieted down as Lily chewed him a new one, he listened to what she had to say.
