"Oh for god sake, quit it... she's talking rubbish." Alex listened to me without whining and switched off the TV that was in our super specialty room, set up with a security system and bodyguards. I was lying on the bed with two pillows on my head. This room had a separate bedroom with everything comfy and pampering; the perks of being a celebrity.

It was finally the most dreadful day for me. But Alex was in high spirits with a super cheekiness, cheesy grins, and bemused comebacks. I couldn't risk his happiness thus I was playing along. After the loveliest wedding plus the most impressive entertainment I have ever had in my life, I was in dreamland. Yes, ever since Alex whispered the magic potion into my mind I was planning our wedding. In between my planning as well as daydreaming, I completely forgot the dreadful event.

For the love of my Lord, I was grateful for the thought that he will resign from the biking club membership 'if' he wins this tournament. Damn, I only heard about that 'if' condition right on the event's morning. Can I argue to change his decision? No, because it was on the norms or something as he suggested. Well, he can trick me for sure, because I don't know anything about the rules right! So, I will have to meet Mr.Lucas soon 'if' Alex didn't win which I highly doubt.

Well abracadabra, it is show time.

On such a fine morning, the arena was swarming with people. From the look of it, the news reports have attracted many people and the ticket collector did address this crowd as crazy because we were able to scoop more viewers than we had for the actual tournament. Wow. And the most amazing part of this tournament is? They have picked Alex's gang as their best choice. Ding, ding, ding... that means in the end, we will earn few more dollars because people are crazy for his stunts. No, all thanks to Den, it was because of him Alex got instant double popularity.

I did promise Alex to be there with him in the tournament but I never promised anything about being in the arena to watch his show. Simply because I couldn't bear the sight of him and my precious ones marching like some angry ants with their bikes. Yes, I was furious. I was very, very, furious and switched to the nonspeaking Angela mode they never knew. Nat noticing my mood swings left me as it. I was grateful for it. But Alex was a different story.

So, when I groggily snapped at him to off the TV, he swayed to me with a cheesy grin. I flipped my head to the other side. Furious as I can ever be, but he pushed my hair back causing me to flutter and blush. Ages of togetherness still didn't mar my teenage hormones around him. Who cares as long as I and he don't care? Alex kissed on my bare back after pulling the shirt a little down. He brushes his nose with soft chuckles on the spot behind my ear and down to my neck, then my back, making me melt into a puddle of goo.

I haven't understood the chemistry of falling in lust when we are super angry. When I am angry I can never adjust my thoughts to anything even if my lover boy wags his little mystery USB device in my face. How much funny that may look but I will still be the grumpy old cat. But, today, Alex was completely another level. It might be because he was overconfident that this trophy will be in his hands or he might be excited that we are going to be married real soon. Whatever it may be, I assured him that I can only be with him in the excitement zone after he performs the stunt. Until then I am a tidal wave of nausea, nervousness, and grumpiness.
