Fear!

Fear rattled through my skin and bones making me go cold with each passing minute. Why do this much amount of fear eat me was incomprehensible.

Bluebirds completed their stunt and their cheers were earsplitting. I wondered what was so cheerful about that; about completing your stunts in the allotted time. It was after their performance; my question was answered as well as masked with fear seeing the next group, called Black Thunder; fall down breaking one of the rider's hand and arms. This clutched a fear in my heart. This was all new to me. Even though everyone chanted Thank God, I wondered why they were thanking God for breaking his arms. But, then, this was only what happened, it was nothing major right?! Was the answer of Nat and to be honest, something major is possible. At this point, I could hear my heart in my ears. I had to cross my fingers and pray to whoever is hearing to keep Nat and Alex safe.

I inquired Alex in a tonne of alarm when Nat will varroom off, Alex assured me it will take time because there were a total of twenty-three groups, after elimination, sixteen groups were remaining to perform and us being the sixteenth one to perform, we had plenty of time. He never detected the stupid fear in my voice. Or it might be so, that he was ignoring it. Wait, was he scared? His hands squeezed mine, making me assured that danger is inevitable. Why was I sweating much?

Because Black Thunder fell onto their face, the third group had an early start. Wow, at this moment, everything is advanced to make me grow anxious by each passing second.

This next group was named Serene Choppers; a fitting name for their appearance. The riders who made an entrance was two young guys by the look of their face, but they looked old enough because of their sprouting muscles and tattoos that adorned their body. I was not sure; there was a something in them that made them look old beyond their age. Everything looked devilish in a handsome way, with their hair spiked like huge mountains and dyed neon colors; they looked like they were ready to chop some ass. I already liked them though they were ferocious. I had to chuckle at that. Alex looked at me reassuringly and smiled at my tensed chuckle. His tiny little peck on my lips satisfied the inner growl. All is right.

The very first thing they did before they got onto their bike was raised their middle finger on both hands and roar like angry lions. I blinked once and twice, and then I laughed out loud. Because I was standing close to the entrance pit, my laugh silenced the people nearby and the roaring lions. And because the people close to me was silenced, nearby people became quiet making the whole place go quiet within seconds. I was stunned. So stunned, that I never knew I could grab this much attention. Now it was the time for the choppers to blink. Once, twice, they chuckled and showed me their thumbs up. All this while, I was holding my breath and seeing their cute face, I thumbed back and laughed. This was so much fun cheering the crowd and they all raised their thumbs. Wonderful! Finally, something that makes me feel like a bucket of ice has been poured for my aid.

It was one awkward situation, nevertheless enjoyable. Alex looked at me crazily at first, then patted my back and snickered.

On the ground, Serene Choppers were lions; like really angry lions who knew their game. I have no idea what they were doing. One guy whose hair was the color of purple and neon orange was sliding on the group handling one side of the bike while the other one whose hair was deep indigo and neon yellow stood on the bike with his hands spread out like he was flying. I have no idea how they are balancing their bike and why I was noticing their striking hair. Well, I guess the passion for this dangerous fun was making them do all these crazy stunts and finally I have no idea how they both jumped and were seated like they were before. The look on their face arrested the show because they were riding the bike to a halt with a cute expression which said, 'I didn't do it.'
