eiza is more commonly known for her roles in soap operas such as lola ... érase una ves, vidas al máximo sueña conmigo, y amores verdaderos but has also featured in films such as almost thirty, jem and the holograms, and will be in a new movie which is said to be released in 2017, baby driver.
eiza was born in caborca, sonora, méxico. ms gonzález is the only daughter of the former mexican model, glenda reyna. eiza has one brother, yulen, who is twelve years older and her father, carlos, was killed in a motorcycle accident when she was just twelve. (she cites her father's death, as a strong influence in her career.)

growing up: growing up, eiza attended two of three private bi-lingual schools, edron academy and the american school foundation, both located in mexico city. at the young age of fourteen, she was accepted into televisa's acting school, centro de educación artística. she completed two years of a three-year course before she was cast as the protagonist in the 2007 teen-oriented telenovela lola ... érase una vez at the age of sixteen. she later became the new face of avon in '08.
