Chapter 15

Steeltrix managed to rub his head as there was an obvious knot on his head and as he tried to look around, he was surprised that before him was what looked like a cleared room, with a single door that had a small window in it. Around him was everyone else he had been with and as he shook his head and tried to get his bearings he looked around when he saw a pony's face pop up in the window and he slowly managed to get onto his hoofs as the door slowly opened to reveal-

"General? What are you.... doing... here..?"

General Shining Armor was covered in blood as his eyes were white and glowing as he opened his mouth and more light came out of it.

"Make us whole!"

Steeltrix tried to back off as the Shining Armor continued towards him and as he was backed up into a corner, he watched as everyone else woke up to open eyes of glowing white and then opened their mouths of the same as Steeltrix covered his ears.

"MAKE US WHOLE!!!"

Steeltrix woke up to the sounds of a heart monitor as he jolted up and as he looked around in the hospital bed he was in, he looked around him as he was covered in a cold sweat underneath a patient RIG. He looked around as he saw Widit across from him, also in a patient RIG, as Widit slowly at up and massaged his head with a hoof as he asked, "What happened?"

"I dunno... I think we got knocked out by someone..." Steeltrix said as he looked around as he saw the others waking up from their own cots as Turbosky asked, "Anyone get the feeling we're being watched right now?"

Moonblossom, who was closest to the only doorway, looked over as she then said, "Who's there?"

Suddenly, several Equestrian soldiers in the Winter soldier RIG's appeared as they flanked the room and doors and as Steeltrix and the others watched them, suddenly Shining Armor appeared in his pristine RIG as he looked at them all, then to Steeltrix, and the asked, "I hope you... managed to get some sleep?"

"MM... I don't think so..." said Solar as he winced in his sheets. "Why were we knocked out?"

"My soldiers believed you to be Unitologists... but since you weren't, we figured to instead of imprisoning you to help you of any wounds you may have had." said Shining Armor as he looked around.

"What about our gear? The weapons?" asked Eclipse.

"In the armory. Where they will stay there till we are done finding out anything and everything you guys can tell us." said Shining Armor as he looked around at everyone.

"But why though?" asked Minty.

"Because it's possible you've seen a Marker, which the Groatian Rebels say is what started this whole mess in the first place." Shining Armor

"Marker?" asked Alec as he looked around.

"You've heard of it?" asked Shining Armor.

"The Unitologists spoke of it back in a strip mine... We.. saw the Marker... but how can such a thing cause so much chaos and death?" asked Fireblaze as he slowly stretched his wings.

Shining Armor gave a sigh before he said, "I don't know but... what can we do? Do is have any weakness?"

"Its a construct and its stationary. Any ship in orbit could blow it up with a well placed mass driver shot..." said Steeltrix as he stretched.

"Not to mentions its in between here and the last place we were at so its nearby and pretty obvious." said Eclipse.

Shining Armor nodded as he then began to walk out and as the soldiers followed, Steeltrix asked, "What will we do?"
