The dark blanket is pulled over us as we sit on the cushioned surface, the sheet below us messed up.

"Oh god, Harry."

He chuckles, looking at me.

I kiss him, running a hand through his curls.

He's like a tiny piece of heaven, I know that sounds cheesy but that's what it's like.

The fairy lights create a dim glow on his chiseled features, I look at him in awe, completely lost in his beauty.

"Babe." He looks down into my eyes, I look back up at him. "Pass the popcorn."

I smile and give him the bowl, the light from the fairy lights captured under our blanket forts blankets, we're also watching a new movie, a comedy, it's hilarious.

We've been flirting all night, he keeps stealing sweet kisses from me, although Louis is in the same hotel room as us, he manages to tolerate it.

It's so much fun, he's 20 but acts like a 10 year old, as do I, and most people back home didn't see it, but Harry does, he sees something that I don't.

Harry's POV

I watch her, her every move, even the slightest one, her laugh, how she covers her mouth, her nose scrunching, her eyes hold a sparkle, she's socially awkward but once you get to know her she's good company, funny, loving, supportive and weird, but that makes her fun. I've asked about her past, she always shakes her head, sadness coming over her, something I rarely see her go through. She's contagious, if she's happy, I'm happy but when she's all depressed like that I become upset with her. I've grown to learn that she's very stubborn, she's like me in some ways and I admire that, her beauty is one of a kind, she's something I can't risk losing. I'm becoming aware of the increasing feelings towards her but I don't know if she feels the same way.

She randomly grabs my hand, looking at it for some strange reason before pressing her small one to mine, her focus solely on this situation, eyebrows scrunched together a little bit, it's adorable.

Her small hand is nothing compared to mine, I intertwine our fingers, she looks up at me, face softening.

"Dude." Louis interrupts our moment.

She jumps, pulling her hand away, she's still so timid around people but she's opened up a bit to me, I feel like she's keeping something from me.

"It's storming." He smirks, enjoying the fact that he interrupted us, I become irritated.

"Yeah, so?" I try to shoo him away, he doesn't take the hint but he leaves.

She lays down, propping herself up on her elbows.

"It's okay if you wanna go sleep on the bed, I'll be fine here." She assures. "And I know it'll be more comfortable."

She does have a point.

"I'll be fine here." She assures again.

I kiss her forehead.

"If you need anything you know where I'm at." I smile down at her.

She smiles back up at me, her eyes sparkling, they're always sparkling.

She hums in response. "Goodnight." I say.

"Night." She says before I leave her to her dreams.

Around 1:10 am I'm jolted awake by crackling thunder and the brightest lightening I've ever seen in America.

A few minutes later, rain pounding outside and thunder and lightening going off, her shy and soft voice cuts through it.

"Harry?" She calls out, her figure is black but I can make it out, she's standing up too.

"Harry?" She whispers again.

"Harry, attend to your fucking girlfriend." Louis snaps.

"Come here babe." I sit up, she starts walking over to me, you can see the fear on her face when the lightening strikes up.

Louis pulls the covers over his head.

She curses under her breath, it's barely audible, she keeps bumping into things, it's very cute, she collapses on the bed, rushing to grip me.

"Are you scared?" I ask in a teasing tone.

"Harry, you don't understand the severity of the storm." Her voice holds seriousness, something I've never heard her use, it frightens me a little.

"C'mon." She pleads, pulling on my hand. "I wanna see if its hailing."

It's July...

"Why would it be hailing?" I ask but she keeps the information away from me, I keep set on my bed.

"Please, just look with me, I'm scared." She squeaks, her soft voice is something I find very beautiful.

I sigh and stand up, she drags me over to the window, the curtains are pulled back as she watches outside intently.

Why is she so freaked out? It's only a storm.

"Turn the weather on." She orders softly.

"Just shut up and go the fuck to bed. Its a fucking storm, no one gives a fuck about it."

I've come to learn that she takes a lot to heart, the look on her face is one of sorrow, I bite my lower lip as she looks back outside.

"Is it up yet Harry?" She asks.

"Oh my god." Louis groans.

"Yeah."

She looks it over.

"What's the red box mean?" I ask, she bites her lower lip.

"Uhm, just a tornado warning." She says nervously, my heart sinks, Lou still doesn't give 2 shits.

"And the hail...?" I ask.

She sighs. "A sign of a possible tornado."

How does she know all this?

"And you know this how?" I ask.

"I grew up in Wisconsin, that summer and fall is one I'll never forget." There's a short pause.

"But we should be fine, the wind isn't blowing, its really still, it's fine." She shrugs, how can she be all uptight one minute then calm the next.

"Great, good night." Louis snaps.

"Can I sleep with you?" She asks.

"Oh my god just let her sleep with you and shut up so I can get my fucking beauty sleep."

"Yeah." I reply, she crawls into bed quickly, she said we'll be fine, why is she still scared?

Is she...? no....

I gasp. "Is someone afraid of the dark?"

"Ha!" Louis dryly laughs.

I only crawl into bed with her, smirking, her silence is all the confirmation I need.

"What's his problem?" She snaps to me, finally venting, I knew she was upset, she keeps quiet though.

"He just needs his sleep, you don't know Louis as well as I do." I explain.

"I know you guys are talking about me, Pam you just need to stop judging me because you don't know me." He says sassily. "And Harry you're my best mate, I trust that you are defending me. Remember, bros before hoes."
