"Opens yours first." I almost squeal, trying to contain my smile, and settling on a huge smile. He looks at me with confused eyes before opening it, revealing a box, I coax him further so he takes the lid off and pulls out his new brown boots. He got rid of his old ones years ago because they were falling apart, I also got him more skinny jeans, because the two pairs he wears now aren't cutting it.
"Thanks baby." He kisses me, I loved his brown boots, sure they're a little ridiculous but I loved them.
"Now open yours." He rasps, I stick the bow on his head before unwrapping it, revealing a small, black box, it's velvet. My heart starts to race in my chest, can he hear it? I sure as hell can.
"Harry.." I gasp.
The longer I stare at the little black box the faster my heart beats. Is he proposing? I almost smile at the thought, I think I'll have an anxiety attack if he does. I bite my bottom lip, I feel nauseous, I feel excited, I confused and nervous and anxious.
I look over at him, he's wearing the biggest grin, my heart beats impossibly faster, if it tries any faster it may explode. Tears prick my eyes and my bottom lip trembles, time seems to be going so slow.
"Open it." His raspy yet gentle voice instructs, he sounds almost... nervous?
I run a hand through my boring brown hair before slowly lifting the lid up. My hands begin to shake, the lid snaps back down, why isn't he on one knee yet? Knowing Harry he's probably being a dork. I take one last look at the box, it's not so small after all. Whats in it?
I close my eyes before flipping the top open and looking down inside. A pair of diamond infinity earrings sit there. I feel my heart sink slightly, I'm so stupid. Of course he wouldn't propose to me, I'm only 19 for Christs sake. I smile over at him.
"Don't you like them?" He asks, disappointment flashing through his eyes and pain written all over his face.
"No, I-"
"I knew it." He takes the box from me, I glare at him. "I'll take them back and exchange them."
"Harry, I..." He cuts me off again, dammit, I hate when people do that.
"I thought you'd like them, you mentioned you're obsessed with infinity signs. I didn't think you-"
"Dammit Harry just listen to me for 5 freaking seconds." I say louder then I intended to. He looks up at me, I take the box from him.
"I love them." I tell him, he grins and hugs me. "But I wish you wouldn't have spent so much money on me." I tell him, he kisses the spot right below my ear, igniting fire throughout my body.
"Sorry, but here's this." He hands me another box, a larger box. I smile at him and open it. Sitting inside is a charm bracelet. It has an infinity sign, a bow, a cat, a book, and an H. The H must stand for Harry, he's so cheesy but I love it.
"You spent too much!" I pout, he chuckles and clips it on my wrist. "I don't want anything for my birthday then." I tell him, he frowns while looking at me.
"You're getting something for your birthday."
"Im not arguing with your over this." I stand up and slip the earrings in my bag.
He spins me around, I expect him to scold me, but instead he presses his lips to mine, my arms wrap around his neck and his hands hold my waist, his one hand holding my hip under my shirt and lightly squeezing it.
"Kiss much?" My father says, I push Harry away from him.
"Dad!" I shriek and throw a pillow at him. "Get out!" I almost laugh, this is so embarrassing and awkward. He chuckles before leaving, does he find some sick, twisted joy in watching his daughters boyfriends shove his tongue down her throat? Ew...
