Elizabeth's POV
"Hey Liz." I hear as I'm in the kitchen making pancakes for the group.
I turn around from the kitchen stove to see Ash. "Hey Ash. What's up?"
"Nothing much. What you up to?" He asks taking a glimpse at the spatula in my hand.
"Making pancakes." I smile at him.
"Cool." He says while nodding. "So I was wondering if you were free Friday night."
I look up at him shocked and glance to my brothers who are in the living room watching football on the T.V.
He sees my reaction and shakes his head. "Not like on a date because you and me both know your brothers would kill me, so as friends."
I nodd my head in consideration. "Well to answer your question I am free Friday night but I don't know if I can attend to this not a date thing." I answer turning back to the pancakes, not wanting to burn them.
"Come on Liz, your brothers won't care if were going just as friends." He says as I ponder the thought. He's probably right.
He sighs and looks like he's lost in thought. Finally he grins and looks up at me. "We can get icecream if you'd like to. Maybe we could even head to the beach. I heard you liked surfing."
At this I grin. "You had me at icecream." I say finally I craning my neck to look at him. "Just friends though." I state.
He nodds. "Just friends." He says although it doesn't sound too convincing I don't think much of it.
I shrug. "Okay I'll go." I smile at him.
And he grins. "Great."
"Great," I repeat.
"Pick you up at seven?" He says backing out of the kitchen with the grin still on his face and I nodd.
"Don't be late." I say and he winks.
I roll my eyes turning back around. What have I just gotten myself into? I think taking off the pancakes and placing them on a plate.

A/N: This was just a really short filler chapter to help out the next one so sorry it's not very long but...
They're going on a date!
Well it's a semi-date but still. The next chapter is going to be way longer than this one and I'm glad I got my writers block out of the way for now.
Well Vote and/or comment if you'd like. And sorry for any typos: unedited. Thanks for reading.
