Chapter 7

Elizabeth's POV~

Friday morning

"It's Friday Friday Got to Get down on Frida-"

"Ugghh" I mumble to shutting off that stupid song Tony set as my alarm.

I get up stretching walking towards the bathroom. Splashing water on my face to wake up I smile 'last day of the week' I think to myself "finally." I say walking out of the bathroom to my closet. Getting ready I head downstairs to hear yelling.

"Give them to me!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"What is going on here?!" I yell. The boys all look at each other then at me with a weird look in their eyes before they all chant at one time "breakfast" before laughing uncontrollably. I stare confusedly at the boys nearly dieing from laughter on the ground.

"What?" I say making them laugh even harder.

Finally Zach stands up trying not to laugh. "You really haven't seen that video sis?" He says laughing and getting out his phone to show me.

"What video?" He laughs again before going on Vine and shows me the video of two guys making chicken nuggets while a woman with a british accent comes in yelling the same phrase I used before one of the guys responds breakfast wich sounds more like "beckfast".

"Ohh" Is all I say as I look at them all finally getting over their laughter.

"But really what's up?" I look at the guys waiting for an answer. "Oh yeahh.." Carson says while glaring at Zach.

"Give them to me" Carson says still glaring at Zach.

"No" Zach says returning the glare.

"What do you have and why does he want it?" I say boredly staring between the two.

"He has the keys." Carson roughly says to me never leaving his stare down with Zach.

"And why does that matter." I say looking at the both of them.

"Because I woke up first!" Carson yells finally looking away from Zach to give me very exasperated look.

I hold my hands up in surrender before looking at Zach with my eyebrow raised giving as to say 'what do you have to say'.

Zach takes that as a go and starts talking. "I technically woke up first because I came down here to get some water around four in the morning ." He says making his point.

"But you went back to sleep afterwards!" Carson yells obviously not liking Zachs 'dumb' excuse.

"I still woke up first." Zach says putting the keys on the kitchen island behind him but making sure they're still out of reach from Carson.

I look at Ricky whose sitting there on a stool on the outside of the island eating a donut watching this all play out. I stare at him hoping to get his attention. Finally it works and he looks at me. I look at him then at the keys then back at him. He looks at me confusedly before understanding and immediately shakes his head 'no' I look at him with pleading eyes. He quietly sighs before finishing his donut and nodding his head agreeing.

I look back to Zach and Carson who are still going back and forth about who woke up first. I see in the corner of my eyes Ricky grab the keys and cooly walk to the front door with his backpack in hand not being caught. I smile knowing my plan worked. 'Not going to be late today' I think to myself as I grab a poptart out of the cabnet and stick it in my backpack for later.

I walk past the boys and am on my way out the front door before I hear Carson. "Where's the keys?" I laugh and run to the car and hop in the passenger seat and lock the doors quickly as the boys come out running two of wich who looked pissed as hell. I smile innocently unlocking the back doors and wait for them to get in.

"This isn't fair you know the rules." Carson says as he gets in.

"Well if we didn't get out of there we would've been late to school" I said turning up the radio as Ricky turns the car on.

After school

The ride to school was pretty fast as the rest of the day was. I saw Ashton once in the hall. He smiled slightly continuing to walk one direction while I was going another. He hasn't shown up to classes for a while wich was kind of disappointing because...well I don't really know. We aren't really friends we have only talked a couple of times yet it's pretty boring without him here.

Ash's P.O.V (end of school)

I've been avoiding Elizabeth. It's quite simple why honestly. It's because she has her boyfriend Tony I think his name is and I can't really get in the way of that it's not cool of me. Also because I know I might start to like her if I do keep hanging around her.

"Hey Ash right?" I hear someone say I turn from my locker to see Carson Elizabeth's brother.

"Yeah hey what's up?" I say as we do the bro handshake.

"Nothing much you any good at football?" He asks.

"I'm alright I guess." I say shrugging. "Why?"

"Oh well one of our teammates just got kicked off the team a few weeks ago and there's a spot open. Try outs are in two days if you wanna give it a shot." He says walking with me down the hall.

"I'll think about it for sure." I say nodding as we head outside.

"Alright well I gotta go I'll see you later man." He says patting me on the back then walking to his brothers and Elizabeth who are standing around the car talking with a few other guys.

I smile as I see Elizabeth then it immediately drops as I see Tony next to her. I'm not jealous of course I'm not.
'Yes you are.' My consciousness says.
'No' I immediately think back. Why would I be? I barely know her. I say getting in my semi new truck my dad got me for my birthday a few months ago.
