Chapter 1

Your POV

I walked into the only class that I liked at the DWMA. It was of course the only teacher that I could connect with. I sighed and walked silently to his class. I had his class for mostly the entire day every day all week and all year. He was the only teacher I looked forward to seeing. I sighed as I walked into the class late as usual. "Late again I see Ms. (l/n)." he said and I smirked a bit. "You know it Dr. Stein." I said as I walked to my seat on the top row in the corner that was normally dimly lit and quiet.

I looked at him and he was staring at me. "Why does he do that, do I look that bad? I thought and sighed. I was sitting in class with my hood on and (h/c) bangs showing covering my eyes. I was normally called emo or goth. But that was only because I would never talk and mostly wore black and never cracked a smile.

"(y/n) can you come here?" I heard someone ask. I looked up through my hair and past my glasses. "Y-yes Professor." I said and I heard some students snicker. "Hehe she actually talks." I rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs to my teachers desk. "Yes?" I asked and he looked at the specimen. "I want you to show the class how to properly do a dissection." he said and I looked at him confused. "Why me?" I asked and he smirked a little. "You are the only one here that has one of the perfect grades." he said and I looked at the students. "Not even Maka?" I asked and he nodded.

I sighed and walked over grabbing the scalpel. I ran it quickly down the underside of the specimen and pulled it open with the tongs. He watched on his chair. "What would you like me to remove?" I asked and he smirked and let the light shine on his glasses. "Hmm how about the heart." he said and I nodded. I grabbed and IV needle with a basin on it and put it in the vein to drain the blood.

After it was almost done draining I started to clamp and cut the valves for the heart. I pulled it out and stuck it in a jar wiped my hands closed it and gave it to Stein. He examined every cut and looked at me. "This class is the proper way to remove a heart out of someone's body." he said and looked at me. "Please be seated." I nodded and walked back to my seat. "Ooh look who's getting brownie points with the teacher." I looked at the only egotistical moron in the class. Black⭐Star. "Are you going to boost your ego or fight me?" I asked and looked at him.

He stood and jumped down the rows to the floor in front of Stein's desk. "What you waiting for...scared you're going to get your ass kicked?" He said and the class snickered I walked down the stairs and took my spot. Stein was at his desk watching. I watched past the gleam of his glasses that he has always had every time I've seen him and smiled.

I rose my hands to fight and Black⭐Star whistled for Tsubaki. "No weapons." Stein said and I smirked. "Why not?" Black⭐Star asked. "You started a fight by yourself you don't need your weapon to save your ass." I said and he looked at me. "You have five minutes until class is over, begin." Stein said and I nodded. I grabbed my glasses and threw them on the ground.

I heard the familiar click click click from Stein's screw. I smirked and Black⭐Star ran at me. I dodged and rolled behind him and then round housed him. He hit the ground and a little fountain of blood coming out of his head. I smiled and walked over. I knelt down and he sat up a little. "Next time you pick a fight make sure you can win." I said and punched him and walked out grabbing my glasses as the bell rang.

Stein's POV

I watched (y/n) and Black⭐Star get into the fight I was amazed. I have never seen someone so quiet and weak looking take on someone so advanced in their classes. I smiled and walked over to Black⭐Star. I picked him up and put him on the table.

I sighed and Spirit walked in. "Who did that?" he asked and I looked at him and grinned. "(y/n) (l/n)." i said and he walked over amazed. "She is capable of that?"" he asked and I nodded. "Apparently so." I said and he huffed. "She seems like your kind of woman." he said and I looked at him. "Please she's my student." I said and he shrugged. "Well are we going to report this to Lord Death?" he asked and I shook my head. "No I'll deal with it." I said and he nodded and walked out. I sighed and slapped him and he woke up. "Get out of my class." I said and he ran out screaming about how he is the best assassin...even though he lost to a girl.
