Stein Help (Stein x reader)

Chapter 3

Spirit's POV

I looked at Stein. I couldn't see his soul or (y/n)'s but he wasn't lying. "What do you think happened?" I asked and he shook his head. "The only thing I can think of is she made her insanity levels increase." he said and I nodded. (y/n) was looking at the floor. I could see she was shocked and confused. "All I did was walk outside for the mail and she friggin hit me with something." she muttered and I walked over and put a hand on her. She punched me and I flew back . Stein looked at me and to her. "Did she just do the thingy you do?" (I can't remember what it's called) I stood up and Stein went to walk to her and calm her down but she ran out of the room.

"Get Maka and the others..We need to find her before Arachne does." Lord Death said. Stein nodded and held a hand to me. "Spirit." he said and I nodded going into my weapon form. He grabbed me spun me around and ran out of the room. "I don't think I've ever seen you worried." I said and he huffed." You really must care about her." I said and he looked at my blade.

"Maybe you're right....for once." he said and I smiled. We found Maka and the rest and we went to find (y/n). We went to her house and to any place we could think of. Sid called us and Stein jumped and ran around on rooftops. He was going into the direction of his house. He got there and threw me. I went back to normal and he saw that his door was open.

Stein's POV

She ran to my house but why i didn't know. I looked at Spirit and Sid. "Did you see anyone follow her in there?" I asked and he shook his head. I ran inside and Spirit ran after me. "You can't run in here without your weapon." he said and I looked at him. Yes I can if it means (y/n) is safe." I said and he stopped. I ran around in the house trying to find her. I found her in my dissection room. She was on the floor under the table and she looked like the insanity had already gotten to her. I bent down and looked at her. "S-stein help." she said and I grabbed her. I picked her up and brought her on my lap and held her.

She shook and seemed to not be aware of anything. I looked at her soul and it was starting to go black from the madness. I looked at Spirit and he motioned for me to say something. I sighed and looked at her. "(y/n).." I said and i saw the blackness stop. She moved a little. "Stein?" she asked in a whisper and I smiled. "Yes Its me." I said and she smiled a little. I watched as the blackness went the other way and she looked at me.

I sighed and held her tight. "Why are you hugging me?" she asked and I looked at her. "I vowed to protect you and I intend to keep it." I said and she nodded. I stood up picking her up bridal style and putting her on the table. Spirit came over and put a hand on my shoulder. "I don't think I've ever seen you almost cry." he said and (y/n) looked at me. "You were crying?" she asked and looked down. "N-no (y/n)" I said and she looked at me and jumped off. "Every one gets hurt because of me." she said and ran out of the house. "SID GRAB HER." I said and she screamed. "Calm down." I heard Sid say and we ran to the hallway.

I grabbed her and held her on my lap and didn't let her go. She calmed down and looked at me. "Stein why won't you let me go?" she asked and I sighed I looked at Spirit and he nodded. "because...I love you (y/n)."
