Chapter 2

Your POV

I walked around the school until a window lit up. I looked and Lord Death was on the screen. "Hiya (y/n)!" he said as enthusiastic as ever. "Hey Lord Death." I said and he sighed. "Will you come to the Death Room?" he asked and I nodded. "See ya there." he said and he faded of the screen. "Great I get in trouble before final exams....If I get suspended I swear.." I thought and walked off to the Death Room.

I walked in and Black⭐Star, Spirit, Stein, and of course Lord Death were there. "I have come to understand that you got into a fight with Black⭐Star." Lord Death said and I nodded. "Care to explain what had happened?" he asked and Black⭐Star spoke up first. "SHE HIT ME AND I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING." He said and I face palmed. "Actually no." I said and he looked at me. "YOU DARE TO TAKE ON THE ALL MIGHTY BLACK⭐STAR." He asked and I looked at him. "I already have and you lost." I said and he went into the emo corner.

I looked at Stein and he was grinning. Spirit was trying not to but failed. "Well.." Lord Death said and we looked at him. "Stein what happened?" he asked and he sighed. He looked down and the light shone on his glasses making his eyes not visible. "Black⭐Star did torment her." he said and I looked at him. Why is he defending me? I thought and looked at the floor.

"I see..." Lord Death said. "What do you want us to do?" Spirit asked and I looked at him. By now Black⭐Star went back to being the Egotistic maniac he is and screaming how much of an assassin he is. That was until Lord Death did his famous reaper chop on him making a fountain of blood come out his head as he laid on the floor I snickered and Lord Death sighed.

"I will have to suspend Black⭐Star from missions." he said and looked at him. "Wait why me?" he asked and I looked at him. "Are you that stupid Black⭐Star...I thought Tsubaki would keep you in line better..." I said and he looked at me. "No one can keep me Black⭐Star in line...I will defy god." he said and I looked at Stein for help but he seemed to be amused.

I sighed and looked at Lord Death. "Can I go now?" I asked and he sighed. "Yes (y/n) but I want you to stay with Spirit or Stein at all times to make sure this won't happen again because next time I wouldn't want to have to say you murdered a classmate because of your true ability." he said and I nodded and walked out. I sighed and ran off to the front of the school. 

I grabbed a skateboard and went down the rail of the school and home. I lived alone in a small little apartment. "WAIT TRUE ABILITY?!" I asked and looked around my house. The doorbell rang and I looked at the door. "Who the hell?" I thought and opened it. It was Stein. "Oh, hello Professor you can come in." I said and moved over letting him pass.

He gave a nod and sat on the couch and looked at me. "So this is actually going to happen?" I said and he nodded. "Yes I suppose so." he said and I nodded; Why am I so nervous around him he's my teacher...my very sexy teacher...WHAT AM I THINKING. I thought and he looked at me and snapped me out of my devious little mind. "(y/n)?" he asked. I looked at him and he stood walking over. He put a hand on my forehead and looked at me "You are warm are you alright?" he asked and I felt the heat in my face. "Yeah, I'm fine." I said and he nodded and sat back down the stupid smirk on his face.

"So are you and Spirit going to be my stalkers from now on?" I asked and sat on the coffee table facing him. "Indeed we are....though i would expect that from Spirit not myself." he said and I chuckled. "Yeah, no kidding." he said and we laughed. "Well i have papers to grade and you have homework because you missed out on it from class." he said and I nodded.

I shown him to the door and he turned to me. "Good night (y/n)." he said and I nodded. "Goodnight...Professor." i  said and he nodded and walked down the path to my house and disappeared in the fog.

Stein's POV

Well that went well. What is it about her that I find so....interesting.. I would love to dissect her but I don't want to create flaws in her gorgeous skin. I sighed and puffed on my cigarette. I looked at her house and watched as the lights turned off. And the way she said my name. I sighed and leaned on a pole and Spirit looked at me. "Hey Stein." he said and I looked at him, "What are you grinning about?" I asked and he smiled.

"Do you have a crush?" he asked and I put out my cigarette. "Me have a crush? No." I said and he rose a brow. "Is it (y/n)?" he asked and I looked at him. "Don't be so crazy to think that I have feelings for one of my students." I said and we walked off to my house. "Just think about it...she's mysterious and you like mysteries." he said and I looked at him.

"Spirit you are out of your damn mind." I said and he shrugged. "Alright don't cry to me when reality hits you, Stein." he said and we parted our ways. I walked into my house that had all the stitches and down to my office. I sat at the desk and graded papers. I got to (y/n)'s paper from today. It was completed. "She must have finished early." I thought and graded it. I stared at it in disbelief. She aced it. I looked at hers and Maka,'s.

She beat Maka? It is very well possible that she did...she can dissect any specimen perfectly. I sighed and leaned back. I sighed and walked over to the phone. "Spirit get over here." I said and hung up. He must have ran over here because he got here in about ten minutes.

"Stein what is it?" he asked and came in. "Look." I said and help up Maka and (y/n)'s tests. "She aced it." I said and he nodded. "She beat my little girl" he said and sat down. "Are you sure you did this right?" he asked and I nodded. "I'm positive." I said and he nodded. "Has she before?" he asked and I thought back to her previous tests. "She's come close but never beat Maka." I said and he nodded.

"Well looks like I have to send more positive energy to my little girl or you just chose favorites." he said and I hit him with a book. "For the thousandth time I DON'T LIKE HER." I said and he held his head. "Stein you and I both know you do...you have never even acted this way before.. Have you not realized you've had a smile on your face since we left her house?" he asked and I looked at the mirror. I fell to the floor and held my head.

"Oh My lord Death." I said and he looked at me. "I told you so." he said and I looked at him. "Call Lord Death." I said and he walked over to the mirror. He put in the number and he picked up. "Yes Spirit what is it?" he asked and I stood. "We have a bit of a problem." he said and Lord Death got closer to the screen. "What do you mean...Problem?" he asked and I walked over. "It regards (y/n)" I said and he nodded.

"Come to the Death Room now." he said and we heard a voice as he faded away. "Was that (y/n)?" I asked and he shrugged. "I thought she was home." he said and we ran to the DWMA, We got into the room and saw (y/n) on the floor in front of Lord Death. He sighed and motioned us over. "What happened?" I asked and she stood, "Nothing I'm fine." she said and put her hand in her pockets showing her bad posture. ( guys I do I stand like L Lawliet) I looked to Lord Death. "She had and in counter with Arachne." he said and I looked at her. "That's it you're staying with me." I said and she looked at me. Spirit and lord Death looked at me. "Why do I have to stay with you?" she asked and I looked at her. ""I can see your soul...It means that Arachne did something." I said and she looked at Lord Death.

"Can you see it?" she asked and He shook his head. "Only Stein can and the top students here at the DWMA." he said and she nodded. "What does it look like?" she asked and I sighed. "It looks like mine."
