A puddle of crimson red lays there, slowly spreading across, covering stones and pebbles on concrete. Screams coming from every direction, every voice, muffled.
I jumped out of my bed, sweat covers my face as salty droplets drip. My eyes wide open, in shock and fear. I sat there, my breathing and thoughts slowly stabilizing. After a few seconds, i sat there just thinking with my face buried in my hands. As time ticks away, seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours. I still have school tomorrow, i need to get some sleep, but i couldn't. I grab my blanket and wrap myself in it, staring at the wall, i wait for myself to doze off.

A few weeks goes by and i'm feeling much more comfortable at school, got closer to Ashley, Laura, Zack and the others. As always, Zack Nortan was being his usual hyperactive joker-like self. It's pizza day today and we decided that Zack should go and get the pizza, because he was the only one who didn't mind walking.
While waiting for Zack, the 5 of us were just sitting down and talking about random topics that pops up in our heads. Me, Laura Jones, Ashley Wilson, Edrik Grehill and Tania Sterway. My life in this school was improving each day, i know everyone in my year now, which is good progress and mainly only hangout with students from my year group.
The conversation about the teachers at our school was interrupted by an overly excited Zack who has a box of pizza in his right hand, running towards us.
"I GOT THE PIZZA!" Zack says right before accidentally running into a big ass pillar somehow.
THUD
Everyone laughs at Zack who is now on the floor, looking confused about what had just happened with his hand still holding on to the box.
Finally realizing about what had just happened to him, Zack laughs along.
Just another day at my new school, that i actually like coming to because of all the ridiculous memories that are made everyday, just like this one.

Zack told me about students being able to use the music rooms during their free time, so here i am, sitting down on the long, rectangular piano seat, just playing any song that comes to mind on the piano while singing them.
At the exact moment when i'm about to get into the chorus of the song, the door to the music room opens, Laura enters along with Amber Smith and Alexa Stone.
Amber Smith, she has long legs, long hazel coloured hair and large eyes. On the other hand, Alexa Stone, from class 7B who has long black hair, is as tall as Amber and has a body that i guess most boys would consider perfect... i think?
With all three of them standing beside each other, Laura looklls like a 10 year old because of her height. We've been using her height as a joke just to tease her but she's cool with it, since she knows that we don't actually say it to insult her.
"Yay! Free VIP passes to The Joshua Garner concert!" Laura says.
"I like his voice." Amber tells us.
"Yup! Me too." Laura replies.
Not knowing what to say, i continue playing the piano while singing with a smile on my face. Totally forgetting the time, i carried on singing and playing songs that i can remember while Laura, Amber and Alexa listens until Alexa notices the time.
"GUYS! WE ONLY HAVE 3 MINUTES LEFT BEFORE CLASS STARTS!" Alexa says, interrupting my singing.
Immediately, all four of us started running to class, hoping that we'll make it in time, which we did, with only 10 seconds to spare. Alexa made it to her class earlier than we did to ours since her class was closer to the music room.

It's the end of school for today and i see Ashley walking infront of me, to the school's entrance. Ashley and i texted each other alot after school and during the weekends which was a good thing considering how i'm trying to make my school life amazing to compensate for the life with my family that i wish i could change.
Ashley finally realizes that i'm behind her and turns around to face me. I was looking right into her eyes and suddenly i get this weird feeling.
What is this feeling that i'm getting right now? My heart felt like it skipped a beat, i thought the 'heart skipped a beat' thing was just an exaggeration used in books and movies, but it wasn't.
