2: Saving Miss Clumsy (John Pearce/Justice Crew)

Chapter 14

* Jacob’s POV *

Today wasn’t any other day. My new plan was about to commence. As soon as I uttered that I was coming with the twins to the Janoskians show, every guy in the room dropped their mouths on the floor. They all eyed me like I was a lunatic, like there was an actual loose screw stuck in the middle of my head.

Deep down, I laughed at their reactions. Good thing, both girls were too busy talking to each other, planning out which rides they would like to try out.

“Are you out of your mind?!” Ryder yelled at me, sort of trying to tell me that it wasn’t too late to back out. “They’re going to see you!”

“That’s the idea, big brother!” I chuckled, an evil one as I imagined my eyes having that twinkle when I smiled at him.

“What?” Ryder was utterly confused. All these times I have been hiding and now, I wanted people to see me. Well, he isn’t alone. I too was confused with what I have decided, didn’t think talking to Faith would lead to this, like how she thought of the masquerade ball. That party wasn’t only for the heck of celebrating opening day, but it also served as a reminder that we were back in town.

“It’s gonna be okay. You’re going too. Everyone’s going. We’ll all have fun.” I winked and laughed as he eyed me with concern, shaking his head.

He knew me too well that I wouldn’t back out of it anymore, but he tried. He just wasn’t successful.

“What do you have in mind, Jacob?” He questioned as I smirked.

“You’ll see…”

* John’s POV *

Today was my chance to make things better between Hope and I. Of course, I needed to know first if she was coming, but Luke said that Faith texted him last night they were going. He also asked questions as to why I was curious to know, but Jill covered that part and explained to the Janoskians boys and now they’re ready to help out.

At least, all my friends were with me, supporting this thing. Having an alone time with her would be the perfect plan to start explaining things, and hopefully, she would listen to every word I say.

As I was getting myself ready, my phone rang and echoed throughout the room. Xander was calling, rather early.

“Sup bro?” I answered.

“John, where are you? Have any plans today?” He asked. His tone was serious, almost telling me that we needed to talk. If she was a girl, it would of sounded like she was about to break my heart.

“Yeah, I’m going with Jill, Lenny, and Alesia to watch the Janoskians show at Luna Park. Faith and Hope are coming.”

Suddenly, he sort of sounded edgy after hearing the heiresses’ names.

“What is it?” I inquired.

Before speaking up, he breathed out heavily. “John, I’ve been researching and I found out some things about the twins. Let’s meet up.”

If it were concerning Faith and Hope, then yes I would love to hear him out. I would love to know what was going on. “Dude, meet us at Luna Park. I’m on my way there right now.”

Soon, Lenny, Alesia, and I have arrived at the park and we have met with the boys and Jill backstage. They were already preparing for the show while I was getting a bit nervous about today’s event.

Xander met us up after a couple of minutes. He was holding onto a brown envelope, tensing as he met us. His eyes flickered to me as if telling me he wanted some privacy.
