* John’s POV *
I screwed up, once again.
If only I could have the chance to rewind everything, I would. But sadly, there was no repeat button on real life situation. A miracle is what I needed here.
As I was thrown out of the club, I realized what kind of mess I have done. First, I kissed Faith. Second, I felt her kissed back. Third and worse of all, Bailey saw us.
I was here to get things done, just like last time. Every time I tried to win her back, I always do something wrong. I failed yet again, and I feel that this time, it would take me a century for her to forgive me.
Slapping my head numerous times, didn’t do justice at all. Yes, it hurt, but it wasn’t the same as what my heart felt like. Compared to it, hitting myself on the head was nothing at all.
Whenever I tried thinking about what happened earlier, my mind keeps on reminding me about Bailey’s tear stained face. She was hurt by the sight. The thing is, while I was kissing Faith, I wasn’t even thinking about Faith. All the while, I was focused on Bailey.
Only if Bailey would understand and accept my explanation, but then again, even I wasn’t convinced with it.
“So the pretty boy decided to come and hang out with us? What a surprise!” Kevin commented as he patted my shoulders in front of Xanity. I didn’t even realize my feet led me back to this place. I’ve missed this. Come to think of it, I haven’t been here since Scape opened up.
Kevin chuckled as I nodded. “You look like a mess. What happened?”
Entering the club, it made me realize that Xanity has changed so much. There used to be loads of people dancing around the club, listening to the beat of the music, or just hanging out with friends at a table. But right now, Xanity looked like a formal dining restaurant rather than a club.
“You finally came back!” Xander greeted as he saw me walked into our usual table. “Too much drama in Scape?” He chuckled, and then stopped when he noticed I wasn’t in a good mood.
“I messed up again.” I uttered, banging my head on the table. Kevin and Xander tried to stop me but I can’t find the strength to do so. “I kissed her.”
“But isn’t that the whole plan?” Paulie arrived and sat across from us. “To kiss and make up with Bailey?”
I nodded, and then shook my head. The other guys showed up and occupied the rest of the table. “I kissed the wrong twin.”
They all gasped hearing my confession. Lenny smacked the back of my head again, just like that time he went with me at the warehouse. “And let me guess, Bailey saw you?”
I nodded to confirm what Lenny accused me of. Yes, Bailey saw it.
“You are so dead!” Lenny smacked my head again as I glared at him. “And stupid.”
“What were you thinking, bro?” Eman asked, shaking his head.
“I thought you love Bailey. How can you just kiss Faith?” Lukas inquired.
Kevin shook his head, hearing all the questions and seeing my reactions. “Dude, don’t you know that most girls wanted guys to fight for them? Clearly, Bailey seeing you kiss Faith in public wouldn’t be the solution to it. It made it all worse. How do you think Bailey will forgive you now?”
I know. “You don’t have to rub it in.”
“But what happened? How did you end up kissing Faith? What were you thinking?” Xander asked, pacing around the table, with a hand on his hips, and another on his head, trying to think of a solution maybe.
