JAKE'S POV.

"NESSIE, I love you too." I run to try and find her. I can't let her go I love her too much for that. I can't believe I told her that the imprint didn't stand because I was part vampire I just wanted to hurt her. I didn't think that Leah had been watching the Cullen's home. If she harmed a hair on my wife's head I will kill her. "Nessie, stay with me." I make it to the river and dive in. I search the water for Nessie. I have to find her all of this is my fault, if I wasn't so angry at her she would have been ok. Suddenly, I see something shiny in the water. It's Nessie's wedding ring. I swim to her at vampire speed and pull her out of the water. As we get on shore I see that her head is bleeding. I give her CPR, and she coughs. Thank GOD she is alive. "Nessie, baby I'm so sorry." "I'm sorry to Jake, I know you hate me but thanks for saving me." She gets up and starts to run away I chase after her. When we stop we are in front of the Cullen's house. "Nessie, listen I overacted take me back." "Why so you can tell me everyday that I am a monster who turned you into a monster?" "No, so you can be my wife, in sickness and in health, for better or worse." I see the tears well in her eyes. I have hurt the woman I love the most in this world. It cuts me like a two-edged sword to see her in so much pain. As we step inside the house, I see Bella pacing in the living room. "Where have you been Nessie?" She has been crying. She runs to Nessie and hugs her tightly. "Why are you wet?" " Leah throw me in the river and I hit my head. Jake saved me." "After he almost got you killed," Edward says from across the room. " I'm sorry guys but I panicked I don't know what I was thinking. I am better now. I spoke to my father and he told me that this has happened before and that I can still lead the pack but now the only difference is that I can't go around the guys in human form." "So is that why Leah tried to kill my daughter?" Bella said. "No, I don't know why Leah tried to hurt Nessie she knows that I imprinted on her and she is protected by the pack." "I want to speak to Jake privately guys." My mom and daddy walk out of the room. Jake and I begin to speak in our minds. "Jake, I'm sorry you can't be around your brothers." "It's fine they will get over it. They hang around you guys so I'm sure they will get used to me." "Jake it's not that simple you know how long it took them to except us." We stare into each other's eyes. I yearn to kiss my wife but I have acted like a complete jerk. "Jake you can kiss me." She says out loud. I forgot you can hear me in my mind this is going to take some getting used to, I grin and pick her up and kiss her soft lips. I feel at home in her arms. And I know I never want to leave them again.
