Looking around me I see piles of limbs everywhere. I search for my family. I see my mom and dad fighting Alec. They ripped his head off and throw him into a nearby fire. I looked for Jake but he was nowhere to be found, I turned to look over my shoulder and I see a vampire coming towards me I quickly duck and Seth jumps and pulls its head off its shoulders. I begin searching for Jake again but I can't find him. Suddenly I see movement behind me I feel the pain before I see my attacker. I feel its paw sitting on lungs. Why was a wolf attacking me, I was Jake's imprint I was supposed to be protected. I hear its growl. I turn over and see Leah's gray coat. I can't believe this was how I was going to die.

Jake, please help me.

I get no reply. I fear the worst that the man that I love is gone. "Leah my dear let me handle this" I hear a familiar voice say. I feel the pressure released off my chest. I stand to see Aro standing in front of me all of a sudden all of my family and friends that are left are at my side. "Young Nessie how are you my dear?" “I would be fine if you would leave me and my family alone." "I see. Where is your wolf husband surely he didn't abandon you and your family?" Then I hear my father speak "You know where he is Aro." Aro grins. "Where is Jake?" "Nessie, I'm here." "Jake." I run to him and hug him. "Jacob I see you escaped my guards." "Nothing you do can keep me from Nessie." "Aro looking around you guard is all dead you must know that you can't win." "Never doubt me, Jacob. Leah is still here and we will fight." "Why?” “Because I will stop at nothing to get the wolves and Nessie.” Jake growls.

Nessie, I’m going to attack him.

Edward, can you hear me?

My look at Jake and nods.

I need you to help me kill him. I will attack his head and you go for the legs.

My dad stares at Jake and nods and gives me a weak smile. I panic I can’t let them do this Aro is centuries old he could kill them with a swipe of his hands.

Jake and dad lunge for Aro and start to tear his limbs. I see mom jump into the battle to help them. Leah growls and I know she is about to attack. I gather all my strength and use my mind to push Leah into a nearby tree. I suddenly hear a loud bark that I know belongs to Jake. I turn and I see Aro’s hands around Jake’s neck. He smiles as he squeezes Jake’s neck until he falls to the ground. I am in shock. I can’t breathe or think I use all my strength to snap Leah’s neck and I throw her into one of the fires.

Jake!!! I scream in my head.

My father stares at me with sad eyes. I race to Aro. I will kill him. “Nessie no!!” I hear my father scream. He killed Jake is all I can think. When I finally reach Aro I use my new power to push him into a nearby rock. He stands and begins to laugh he runs up to me and I push him back again. I feel the angry inside me build as tears run down my eyes. I will myself on. I left Aro up with my mind and I begin to pull at his limb. I think about all the pain that this one man has caused. I think about the baby inside me that will never know his father. My family is at my side but do not see Uncle Jasper or Aunt Rose did they perish in the fight? I look to my father and he shakes his head no. I allow Aro to land back on the ground and Sam and two other wolves appear as I hold onto his head I show him everything that he has taken from me. I show him the fear that is in his own eyes as his head rests in my hands. I show him that I am going to kill him. As the wolves tear at his ancient body I pull his head as hard as I can. Finally I hear the “pop” that I have been waiting my whole life to hear. As I throw his head into the fire it explodes. I can’t help but think about Jake. I look around but I can’t see his body. I then know that Aunt Rose and Uncle Jasper have taken it away. I feel my family gather around me. My mom is at my side holding me in fear of what I may do. Jake is dead, my husband, my imprint, my baby’s father, the love of my life is dead. He helped me get rid of the Volturi but at what cost. Jake is gone forever.
