Our Baby

Two Weeks Later

I can feel her moving around. She move constantly she ready to come out, I can't wait to meet her. She told day yesterday that she was ready to meet Jacob and I. She said she loved us and she was glad that her "pop pop" could hear her. I feel a sudden pain in my stomach. I yell for Jake. He rushes to my side. I feel excited and nervous. My dad yells for grandpa. It's time. Jacob picks me up and runs upstairs, then he places me in grandpa's "hospital" room. "Look at me Nessie, you are doing great just breathe." I stare at Jake and I can see the fear in his eyes. He hates to see me in pain but the kid that I am carrying is worth it. My mom places her cold hand on my forehead and I feel a sense of relief. I feel a contraction and grandpa tells me to push. I push down as hard as I can. I feel like I'm about explode as I catch my breath I hear a loud cry and I know that it is our daughter. I see Jake's eyes, they are full of love and emotion. I smile because everything is perfect but then I feel as if my body is being ripped apart again. "What wrong grandpa?" "Nessie, I think you are having another baby. Push for me." Another baby as in two newborns. I push as hard as I can, I keep pushing until I feel the pressure lift.

Told you we were having a boy.

I look up at Jake and smile. Leave it to him to make a joke about me having twins. "Can I hold them?" "Nessie, of course." I grab my daughter and my son they are beautiful. Jake kisses my forehead.

What should we name them?

I have no idea.

I think we should name our son Edward Jacob.

I smile at him. "Of course Jake that is so sweet." My mom looks at me confused. "He wants to name the baby Edward Jacob" my dad states. I f my mom could cry I know she would be right now. "What about the girl?" "Sarah Alice Black" I state. All eyes are on me and Jacob looks as if he is about to cry. "You would name our daughter after my mother?" "Of course Jake I love your mom she gave me you." All of a sudden I hear Aunt Alice scream "She named her after me too dog." We all laugh. I stare at the twins and try to imprint their faces into my memory.

Sarah Alice has a head full of black hair, her eyes are the color of roasted almonds. Her skin is the same color as Jake's but it shines to enhance her beauty. She grabs my finger and I see her in my womb fighting for room with her brother. I giggle. She then show me my mom and dad smiling at her. "She knows we love her already' my dad say. I smile and look down at EJ. I am stunned he looks just like Jake and my dad all rolled into one. He smiles up at me. His eyes are the same color as Sarah but there is something different about them. As I stare at his eyes they change into a grayish color. "What just happened?" "I think he had a vision or something because he is thinking about Seth but he is angry" my dad explains. "He is mad with Seth?' "Yes Jacob."

We hear Seth's voice. "I called him to tell him Nessie was in labor." Seth knocks on the door and we all turn. "Hey guys what's up? Why are you all staring at me?" Then his eyes meets Sarah's and he drops to his knees. Seth imprinted on my daughter. EJ begins to scream.
