Our Love

 The Volturi is gone Jacob and my family are free. The only problem is there is no one to control new vampires. Grandpa has some ideas but he said that it can wait until after I have the baby. I'm only 2 months but I look 6 months. Jacob and I are preparing for the new baby. All our family has been helping us to learn how to take care of the baby. Aunt Alice has been shopping non-stop. I don't know what I am having yet but she doesn't seem to care. I wonder where Jake is. My husband, who I almost lost in a senseless war, is the greatest gift that any woman can ask for. We have an amazing connection that not many people share.

I’m at our house handling some wolf business. I will be back in about an hour.

Our connection has gotten stronger. We can now speak to each other in our dreams and we can also speak when we are very far away. I love it. I wonder what wolf business he is handling. I walk toward the kitchen and grab a snack out of the cabinet. When I sit down I begin to feel dizzy, the room turns misty. I feel like I’m trapped in water. I don’t what happening I scream for help. Suddenly my parents are at my side. “Nessie, what’s wrong?” “I don’t know dad, the room just got really misty and I got dizzy.” “Stay still let me make sure you are ok.” My dad examines me from head to toes. He places his hand over my stomach. “What are you doing dad? Is something wrong with the baby?” “Shhhhh. I’m listening.” Listening what is he listening to? My baby. He can hear him? “The baby is thinking that it is too uncomfortable in there.” “You can hear him?” “Yes Nessie I can.” “Is he ok?” “Yes SHE is fine. She says she is sorry she wasn’t trying to hurt you she just wanted you to know what it was like in your tummy.” “What!!!” “Her gift is similar to yours but instead of just seeing it you feel it also.” “OMG!” As I yell Jake walk through the door. “What’s going on?” “Jake, dad talk the baby. She showed me how it feels in my stomach.” I cry out. I can’t believe this she is already so gifted. “Wait, it’s a GIRL?” “Yes a girl.” “I’m the father to a beautiful baby girl.” He stands there with a  shocked look on his face. I smile at him I know that he will make a great father but I hope he will not be overprotective like my father was with me. “Hey I don’t think I was that bad.” “Sorry dad. You are the best. Thank you for caring so much.” “No need to thank me you and your mother are the reason is exist.” “Jake can you walk home with me I want to look at the baby’s room to make sure Alice didn’t go overboard.” I can’t wait until our baby gets here.
