For whatever reason I got up early, Nicki is still passed out so I leave her I'm sure she don't get to do this that often.

Like the creep that I am I stare at her.

She doesn't know this but I use to do this all the time when we were together before.

She seems happy and I mean like for real, I know it took her awhile to deal with her brothers death, it destroyed her when I met her she was a mess.

I know that's why she was always hesitant to do deals or if I had some business I had to deal with, she didnt want either one of us to end up like her brother but I was a dick, I just told her to stop being annoying and do what she's told.

Her phone starts ringing and I reach over her to grab it before it can wake her up.

I see my dads name on the screen so I figure maybe it's about Olivia, I get out of her bed quickly and quietly and answer it.

"Yeah?"

"D? Where's Nicolette?" I don't think my dad knows that I was trying to get back with her so the fact that I'm answering her phone is probably confusing the fuck outta him.

"Asleep"

"She said she would come get Olivia in the morning but she's probably really tired so just let her sleep and you can come get her"

Wait what?

"Can't you just keep her a little longer?" It's not that I don't wanna see Olivia I just don't think me showing up to get her will be okay with her.

"You're back now, it's time to pick up the slack, help that girl out"

He's right.

"Okay fine I'll be there" I give in.

I guess I really owe my dad and sister big time for being Olivia's dad while I was locked up.

It's time to be a real daddy.

As soon as I walk into my dads Olivia runs right into me, I guess she's a morning person.

"Woah slow down kid, where's the fire?"

She looks up at me and says what I believe is sorry.

"Finally you're here, I gotta go lock the door on your way out" my dad says literally running out the door.

"Hello to you too" I mumble once he's gone.

"I guess you're ready to go home?" I ask her while she just stares up at me.

She just nods then surprisingly she reaches up for me to pick her up so I do.
