I woke to the kids jumping on my bed, “Hey you two.” I said as they giggled at me, “Alright what are we doing today,” “gadpa Kewn!” they said as I heard, “What?” I nodded as they got off my bed as I went into the kitchen, “hey Kell.” He nodded as he looked at me. “You look tired still.” I nodded, “I haven’t been sleeping great lately.” “Why?” I shrugged, as he raised his eyebrow, “Cause everything that’s going on, I keep thinking about dad, if my kids are getting a good life, what would happen if things didn’t go well with Mike.” He sighed, “As your adopted dad I can say, just live for now Haley.” I nodded, “Thanks dad.” I whispered as he laughed at me, “Now eat.” He said as I looked at him. “don’t you have a wife and three kids to cook for?” he laughed, “The boys are at school, Copeland and Katelynne are out shopping I think.” I nodded, “let you all by yourself poor dad.” He laughed as he shook his head as I ate, “did the twins eat?” he nodded, “I fed them when they got up.
“When did you get over here?” “half hour ago.” I nodded, “Sorry just getting sleep.” I mumbled as he laughed, “it’s okay Haley really.” I nodded as I looked at the twins who were now watching SpongeBob. “Oo SpongeBob.” I said as he laughed at me. “Shut up I grew up on this.” He shook his head at me as my phone started to ring, I put my plate on the counter as I went into my room, “Hey Mike.” I said as he laughed at me, “I’m going to pick you up at 7 tonight.” “Alright.” I said, “See you than.” He said as we hung up as I climbed into bed. “I’ll babysit.” Kell said as I looked at him, “Thanks.” I said as he smiled. “No problem anything for my grandkids… I love saying that.” I laughed, “You would have said it anyway if they weren’t I mean you and Katelynne are like parents to me even back then now your just my parents adopted or not.” He laughed as he smiled and left. I went back to sleep as i woke a couple minutes to me, to max crawling in my bed.
“You tired too?” he nodded as he crawled under the blankets Kellin came in, “sorry Liam and him don’t get along.” I nodded, “it’s fine what time is it?” I asked, “About three.” I looked at him, “I slept all day.” He nodded, as I saw Max looking at me, “wanna help mommy pick out a dress?” he nodded as I heard Andrea say, “ee too!!” I laughed as I got Max on the floor as I laid out my dresses as Max and Andrea were baby babbling to one another. “They do this a lot?” I nodded, “when I ask them to help with my outfit.” He laughed. As he enjoyed the amusement as we heard Katelynne say, “did you find them?” “Yeah they were in Haley’s bedroom.” “okay!” she called back as she than walked int, “Are they supposed to be talking to one another?” I nodded, “helping me pick out a dress for my date tonight.” She nodded as I saw Copeland come in she joined them. “Mom Liam and I’s soccer practice starts soon and our ride is here.” She got up and smiled.
We watched the three of them talk to one another as Max came over to me, “you okay baby boy?” he nodded as he rubbed his eyes, “Mama!” Andrea said as I looked at her as she pointed to my Red Vampirella dress as I nodded I put max on my bed after I got the dressed out of the way. Max was asleep when I looked at him I smiled as I kissed his head. Andrea crawled next to him as I went in the bathroom I took a shower as I got my dress on, I got my make-up done and my nails done. I looked at myself in the mirror as I nodded to myself as I went out of the bathroom I saw Andrea and Max sleeping next to one another. “hey.” I heard as I looked over to see X. “Hey Xandy I hope you don’t mind babysitting.” She giggled, “It’s fine. I love them.” I smiled, “Thanks.” “Have fun on your date Mike’s here out in the living room.” “Alright thanks.” I said as I hugged her.
I went into the living room as she smiled at me as I saw Mike he smiled at me as I smiled back. “You look beautiful.” I blushed a little, “Thanks Mike you don’t look too bad yourself.” He laughed as we left he brought me to the park. “The park?” I giggled as he smiled, “You’ll see.” I nodded as I went out to the grass as he came over to me with a blanket and a picnic basket as I smiled. “Awwe.” He smiled as I put the blanket down as we sat, “I hope you don’t mind Penne with Vodka Sauce.” I giggled, “it’s fine.” I said as he smiled, “Good because you’re going to love dessert” “ooo otay!” I said as he laughed. We ate as we watched the sun set. As we finished I wiped my mouth as, he brought out Cheesecake. “Yummy my favorite.” He smiled as we had dessert. After we ate as he put on some music, “Can I have this dance.” I giggled softly as I nodded. He helped me up as we danced for a bit. “You ready to get home?” he asked as I nodded. As I looked at him he smiled and kissed me softly, I kissed him back as he put his hands on my sides as we heard a car pull up.
We packed everything up as we saw a cop, “Hello Mr. Officer.” I said as I smiled he nodded, “You haven’t seen any teens here today?” I shook my head. “no sir.” He nodded as he left we packed and left. We got to the house as I saw Xandy, “hey glad you came I have to head out.” I nodded, “I gave the kids a bath, they are fed and now are asleep.” “Thanks Xandy.” She giggled softly as she left Mike and I went into the living room as I took off my heels as I sat on the couch as mike also did. I carefully put my legs on the couch as I leaned against Mike’s shoulder as he put his arms around me. We just sat in silence for a while till Mike and I heard. “daddy?” I blushed as we looked at max. “mommy.” He said as he walked over to the couch as I picked him up. “What’s wrong max?” I asked him softly. “wov you mommy.” He said as I kissed his head. As he went over to Mike, “wov you daddy.” I blushed as Mike just smiled at him. “Love you too buddy.” I smiled softly as I turned to see Andrea. “
Come on hun.” I said as she walked over here as she looked at max, “I sowy ax” she said softly as I said, “what happen?” I asked as I remember, she has been ignoring him lately. Max Hugged her as I smiled, “Okay you two bed time.” Mike said as Andrea giggled at him, “Daddy! Daddy!” she said as I blushed as I picked up Max as I kissed his cheek. “I love you Max.” I said softly as he looked at me giving me a smile. I put him in bed as I tucked him in. “Night, night.” I said as he giggled, “ight mommy.” I smiled as I kissed his nose. I went over to Andrea, “night, night.” I giggled. As Andrea looked at me, “Ight mommy.” I smiled as I kissed her head. I saw Mike talking to max as I smiled. When he got up he turned off the light and we left I shut the light off in the living room and hallway. I went into my bedroom as Mike followed me, I kissed him as he smiled as he kissed me back.
I took off his shirt as he smiled, “Slow down Haley.” I blushed as he smiled, I went into the kitchen grabbed my secret stash of Vodka as I poured some in a cup I mixed it with juice as I went into the bedroom and handed him it. He laughed, “Shut up it helps me sleep at night.” He shook his head as I sat on my bed. He drank the rest of the Vodka as I went into the bathroom and changed into my pajamas. I came out, “So I have a question..” I looked at him, “Shoot.” I said softly as he looked at me, “Will you be my girlfriend.” I looked at him with a smile, “yes Mike.” I said as I kissed him softly as he smiled I crawled into bed as he crawled in next to me. I laid my head on his chest as I fell asleep.
