Chapter Ten

Today is the day I settle things with Daniel. I called and canceled dinner plans because 1: I forgot about them, and 2: I'm getting back with Elvis. I'm so nervous my palms were sweating. I sat in my car in the parking lot at the little café down the street from my place. I could see him sitting at the table through the window.
"Damn this is going to be hard" I muttered to myself as I took my keys out of the ignition and got out my car locking the doors. When I walked into the Café Daniel turned and looked at me. I faked a smile then made my way to the table.
"Thanks for coming" I said taking my seat.
"It's not a problem" he said looking at the menu. I cleared my throat. He looked up from the Menu and opened his mouth to speak.
"I have something to tell you...." He said.
"I have something to tell you also" I said hoping it's nothing sentimental.
"You first" we said at the same time. I shook my head and pointed at him to go first.
"Okay okay.... Well I don't know how to say this but..... Well Olivia and I have decided to try again" he said coughing a bit. I smiled glad that I wasn't the one to break off our little dating thing.
"Oh really?" I said just to make sure he was telling the truth.
"Uh yeah" he smiled while staring out the window. He must really love her I thought.
"Well.... Elvis and I.... Haha are.. Um.. Doing the same thing" I said tugging on a strand of hair and twirling it around my finger.
"Hm... That's interesting... What does he do?" He asked.
"He's the CEO at Chungs Electronics" I said. His eyes grew wide impressed.
"That's great" he said taking a sip of his coffee. I nodded my head.
"I still want to be friends" I said giving him all of my attention now.
"Of course! We should like double date or something" he said getting excited. I burst into laughter.
"You're serious? I don't think our dates would be fond of that" I said grabbing the coffee he ordered for me.
"Well we have to try" he says looking at his watch. "Well it's time for me to go and pick Olivia up from the airport, thank you for understanding" he said standing up. I stood up also and we hugged each other tightly.
"No problem bro bro" I said while we separated. He looked at me and smiled.
"Bro bro?"
I shrugged and grabbed my coffee leaving him in the café.

Omg I didn't know that this chapter published..... It wasn't even finished ugh... Now I'm upset....
