Chapter Thirteen

Today I was able to bring Eden home, I was so happy that he was getting better I couldn't even think straight. I just wanted to take him everywhere and give him everything, but for now he needs his rest so his wound can heal.
"Mommy can I watch Spongebob when we get home?" He asked once I put him in his car seat comfortably.
"Of course honey pie" I kissed his forehead and closed his door gently. I got into the drivers seat and headed home. Elvis had to be at the company about two weeks ago to handle some business. I guess he had a lot of shit to do because he hasn't called or anything, but Daniel has been at the hospital since. He apologized for not being here sooner but that was all okay because what mattered most was Eden's well being. Something obviously was up with him though. I could feel it.
The ride back to my apartment was quiet, Eden must have fallen asleep. I got out the car and went to his side to carefully take him out and carry him to the house. When I unlocked the door, it was dark. I squinted my eyes confused because I could've sworn I left the bathroom light on and I had the curtains open, so there's no way in hell this house should be dark as shit. I closed the door and made my way back to the car. I picked up my phone and called Elvis.
"Hello?" He said.
"Hey did you come home today?" I asked looking around.
"Uh no.. Why?"
"The house is dark I think someone is in there. Eden is asleep and I just want to put him in his bed. My little baby has had a rough couple of weeks." I said ready to cry.
"Oh calm down babe. Just come in the house..... Eden is asleep" he shouted. I hung up and made my way to the house and opened the door again. This time all the lights were on and everyone was standing around smiling.
I smiled politely and took Eden to his room. Elvis followed behind.
"We wanted to surprise him" I nodded my head, tired. I walked outside to greet everyone and saw Daniel.
"Thank you for coming, Eden is doing a lot better" I said to someone then made my way towards Daniel.
"Hey Dani" I hugged him.
"How are you? Where's Olivia?" He smiled a little, then it faltered.
"Let's go sit and talk okay?" We headed to the couch and sat down.
"What's wrong? Lay it out" he fidgeted with his fingers before sighing.
"Olivia... She got me to believe we were actually going to be together for good, but she up and left..." He said finally looking at my face. I couldn't believe it, he was just talking about how much they love eachother.
"I'm so sorry Daniel" I say rubbing his back. He covers his face and I continue rubbing his back for comfort. I look up to see Elvis glaring at me.
"What?" I mouthed at him, he shook his head and walked out the room. What the hell?
"I'll be right back Daniel" he nodded his head and leaned back on the couch. I got up walked to the back hallway.
"Elvis?!" I whisper yelled. I walked to my room and he was sitting on the bed.
"What's wrong with you now?" I said standing infront of him.
"Nothing" he said blankly. I scrunched up my eyebrows. What?
"Whatever..." I left out the room and went back to Daniel. I don't have time for Elvis's shit today.
"So do you know why?" I asked him as I sat back down on the couch.
"I assume she just wanted to tear you and I apart, because when I told her that Elvis was back into your life she just changed. She thought you and I were still dating" he looked into my eyes and I could feel my heart breaking for him. I smiled at him.
"It's okay, you'll get someone that you deserve. You're a prince and princes always get their princess."
"To be honest I really thought you'd be my princess Caterina..." He said. I held onto my breath for a quick second.
"I think you always will be my princess, I'll wait for you" he said then kissed my forehead and got up.
"I'll see you around Caterina"
I could feel my heart beating a million miles a second. What the hell!?? What!? I don't know what to do. I put my hands on my face and took a few deep breaths.
"Okay" I said then stood up.
"Thank you all for coming, it's too bad Eden is asleep, I'm sorry but he needs his rest. It about that time for everyone to go. Thank you again for checking up on us" I said and with that everyone started leaving, saying their goodbyes. Once the last person left I locked the door and started cleaning. When I was done I went into the room to see Elvis packing his bag.
"What are you doing?" I asked him. He ignored me and continued to pack. I walked up to him and grabbed his arms.
"Look at me.... What are you doing?" I said calmly. He looked passed my head an frowned.
"I can't do this anymore" I let go of his hands.
"Do what anymore?"
"This. I don't trust you. What were you doing with Daniel? Have you been with him while I was gone!?" He raised his voice.
"Elvis are you kidding me right now? Are you being serious?" I said not even believing what was going through my ears.
"He is in pain! His heart is broken, I comforted him because I know what it feels like to be in pain like that! And he came to see Eden to make sure he was doing okay. I would never cheat on you" I said on the edge of crying.
"You're going to leave when Eden and I need you most. Mostly Eden, Elvis he was shot! He's recovering and you're just going to leave out his life again!" I yelled letting the tears spill now. I've had enough.
"Another pregnancy you're walking out on. You want to leave... Leave! Go! You have my fucking blessing!" I sneered then walked out to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and tried my hardest to stay strong. I looked down to see his phone, he just got a message.
Ashley;): did you do it yet? I'm waiting for you baby
Oh hell nah! I picked up his phone and ran into the room chucking it at his back. He groaned and held onto the spot it hit.
"So you were cheating?! And had the audacity to accuse me?!" I yelled. I was so angry all I saw was red. I was ready to charge and beat his ass. Luckyily Eden had taken an sleeping pill so he won't wake up from us yelling.
"Cat let me explain" he said holding his hands up.
"Fuck you! Get the fuck out my house!" I yelled then walked out the room. I felt a sharp pain at the bottom of my stomach and I doubled over and screamed.
"Oh no, please don't be what I think it is" I cried as I felt another sharp pain and warm liquid flow out.
"Ahhh" I screamed while holding my stomach. Elvis ran into the hallway
"Cat! Oh my god!" He ran into the room and came back in on the phone.
"My wife she's bleeding, we need an ambulance now!" He yelled into the phone.
"My baby" I cried before I blacked out.

I woke up to a bright light and a beeping noise. I was in the hospital, I'm getting so tired of being here. I tried to sit up but I felt a pain in my lower abdomen.
"Cat don't move" Elvis whispered.
"Huh? Is the baby okay? Why do I feel empty?" I said reaching down to touch my belly. Elvis grabbed my arm and shook his head no.
"Let me go get the doctor" he said before walking out the room. I looked down and saw that my belly didn't have the small bump that it did before.
'Don't cry ' I said to myself. Just then the doctor and Elvis walked in. Both wearing sympathetic looks on their faces.
"I'm sorry Caterina, you had a miscarriage. It was from all of the stress that you've been in, we had to give you an cesarian to get the baby out" at that moment I let the tears spill rapidly. My baby died because of me. Because I stressed myself too much. I looked over to Elvis and he just kept his head down.
I inhaled deeply trying to catch my breath so I could speak.
"May I have some time to talk to Elvis?" I asked the doctor. He nodded yes and left out the room.
"You wanted to leave-- you can go now-"
"Cat I'm-"
"But don't come back ...ever.... Don't ever come back, because I will not take you back this time. You lied to me and you lied to Eden... And now I fucking hate you. You said you loved me, what fucking act was that. You made it so believable, and now I feel like a dumbass for letting you back in so easily. I don't ever want to see your face again." I said looking him straight in the eyes. I was through with his shit.
"You may get to see Eden but that's it. Only when he is fully recovered. But I'm done with you. Completely and entirely"

Whatttt just happened? I think Caterina finally screwed her head in all the way. She lost the baby 😖😭😞 sad sad sad, but that's okay because Elvis is gone now. She doesn't have to have another baby by his cheating punk ass.
