i slowly let the door move itself backwards, widening the gap. the larger it got, the more i saw sooji with her usual binoculars on, peeking through the window.

i stepped in, the footsteps echoing in the room, alarming sooji. she turned to me, her confused expression soon turned into an excited one.

"sunbae!" she hopped off the counter and walked over to me. "good afternoon!"

"hey, sooji," i waved with a smile. "what's up?"

as if she remembered something, she gasped and pulled out another ticket.

"i got passes for got7ㅡ"

"jagiya!"

i felt an arm slung around my shoulder. the fact that it felt...muscular made me blush a bit.

"o-oppa," i muttered, holding in a cringe attack. "why are you here?"

"is it bad to see my girlfriend?" jimin leaned down and pouted slightly.

"n-no," i managed to croak out the word. my throat was starting to get really parched. i needed a drink. pronto.

jimin must've felt sooji's piercing stare as he turned to look at her and shot her a friendly smile.

+++++

"hello," jimin greeted the girl who seemed stoic. "i assume you're sooji, right?"

sooji muttered a hello and bowed slightly, looking a bit blank at the moment.

"are you...sunbae's boyfriend?" sooji hesitantly questioned jimin who had his arm around haejin still.

"ah, she hasn't told you?" jimin turned back to haejin and gave her a soft noogie before chortling. "we've been dating for a few months now."

"a few...months, you say?"

"stop, oppa," haejin pushed him away weakly which made the boy laugh. sooji could only look at the sight, stunned. how come she hasn't heard of this before?

"but you never talked to sunbae before." sooji argued.

"well," jimin scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "haejin's a bit more secretive about or relationship, but when she comes over my place," jimin smirked while haejin flushed brightly.

"s-stop!" haejin grabbed his arm and pushed him out of the room with all her might.

"oops," jimin showed a mischievous smile. "sorry, sooji, looks like my time is up."

"just go." haejin grunted, giving one last push till' he was out of the room.

"see you after school, jagiya!"

the door was closed, leaving a flushed girl and a girl who was consuming all of the information that just got slapped on her.

"s-sorry about that, sooji," haejin muttered as she pulled a strand behind her ear and sat down, her cheeks tinted pink.

"no, it's okay," sooji spoke in a callous manner. "i don't mind."

+++++

"up until i get home too?"

jimin placed a finger on his lips before pointing towards the car mirror, showing sooji who was quietly peeking behind the school gates.

"she's watching," jimin whispered. "we gotta do something."

"like what?"

"don't kill me." jimin whispered again, confusing her.

"whaㅡ"

jimin grabbed the side of her head softly, bringing it towards him and placed a soft kiss on top of her head.

before haejin could say anything, jimin slung his arms around her while laughing.

"w-what the hell wa-was that for?" haejin whispered to him with a beet ted face. her eyebrows were furrowed while her lips were in a tight line. she knew that if she blew up right then, it would ruin the whole thing.

"it's part of the act, okay?" he chuckled. "hurry up and do something."

"like what?"

"anything that looks affectionate."

haejin gulped. if she turned back and took a peek, sooji would know it was all for show.

with hesitation, haejin shook his arm off her before grabbing it again, placing her arm around his.

jimin looked down at her with a surprised look on. he didn't think she would do it.

"j-just this once, okay?" she muttered quietly, her cheeks growing warmer. jimin examined her expression before looking up to the sky, a satisfied grin on his face.
