London, 789 b.c.e.

The man could only wait and listen as the storm clouds flew across the sky. This was it. He had to finish them tonight.

The man ran through the torrent towards his old rotting forge. They never expected that he would have a scientific breakthrough of a new source of power. And he had it all. The man listened in his old forge for any signs of the Hunters. As their name states, they hunt. They hunt for people who are getting waaay ahead of their time. And he was their next target.

As he kept hammering, he kept thinking on how his wife and children were abiding in their house during this monsoon that kept lurking in their town.

And after some long hours of work, his greatest project had been finished.

He chuckled as he sealed certain things into these pendants that he just created. But all he could do is walk back home, notebook in hand, and close the door, lay down in his bed after changing and laid his notebook down.

Time skip to next day

The man walked to work when a group of people showed up, familiar cross swords on their jackets.

The Hunters arrived, and were waiting for him.

And the last thing that he could remember was one of them pulling out a sword as he closed his eyes.
